22.01.2022 Scotts Dancers have kept themselves busy during the lockdown with different online challenges. From the leap challenge, Highland Hustle classes, Flings & Things Choreography challenge, online lessons & catch ups with fellow dancers certainly kept them bouncing & smiling. Well done dancers.

20.01.2022 Today was a perfect pageant day. SHD participated in the City of Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant. Beautiful sunshine, thousands of people lined the streets cheering us on. We finished the pageant with a performance with the Onkaparinga Pipe Band at Rotary Park. For a few of our dancers this was their first Christmas parade & display & they were natural performers! 19.01.2022 That’s SHD dancer, Connor on a flight to Sydney, then on to Gosford for an amazing weekend of dance. Connor has been invited to lead all male workshops at Laycock Street Dance Studios. When students of Laycock Street Dance saw Connor perform recently at the Tattoo, they went back to their teacher, Dougie, raving about his performance.... Dougie approached us about an all expenses paid trip for Connor. Connor will lead workshops in both Highland & Tap, talk about his dance journey, his experiences so far & mentor the boys to inspire them to continue to work hard to become great dancers & reach their full potential. Above all that, he also gets to compete on Sunday at NSW State Championship & Titles. What an amazing experience & opportunity for Connor. Good Luck & Enjoy. See more

13.01.2022 That’s a wrap Final tattoo show was on Saturday evening & it was absolutely spectacular. What a week, 100 highland dancers, 72 hours of rehearsals in 5 days, 4 shows in 3 days, strong cast of over 1600 & performing to audiences totalling over 130,000. The smiles on their faces says it all. What a wonderful experience to perform at this largest Edinburgh Military Tattoo, seeing fellow dancing friends as well as making new friends from all over the world & memories to tr...easure forever. Our dancers are amazing. So proud of them. See more

09.01.2022 Wishing Scott’s Dancer, Connor a successful weekend of dancing at the 60th Australian Commonwealth Championships, held in Boronia, Victoria. Following the day of competing, Connor will participate in workshops on Sunday held by Jacqueline Aird from Scotland & Cheryl Roach OAM, from QLD. Good Luck Connor.

04.01.2022 Connor had a wonderful weekend of dance last week in Gosford. He enjoyed leading workshops in both Highland & Tap. He was well received & thoroughly enjoyed this experience & mentoring the young lads. A special highlight for Connor was being able to have a tap session with Josh, working on a different style of Tap. After the workshops, Connor competed in the NSW state Championship, placed 4th overall & qualified for the Veronica Law, Lilt Challenge. I would like to give ...a huge Thank You to Dougie & Josh, the McFarland & Golding families for their generosity & being fabulous hosts to Connor. He felt most welcome & enjoyed his weekend. Connor is extremely grateful to have had this opportunity. Results: 16 &17 yrs Championship. Fling 3rd. S.T 3rd Reel 3rd 4th Overall Lilt 1st. 4th B.Bonnets
