21.01.2022 Pack, Pack Pack! Akela's call to Wolf Cubs seen here in the 1970s from a Gippsland Pack. Whilst the Jungle Book now has a different relevance to Cub Scout training, we reflect on the generations of youngsters with daggy green caps who have enjoyed their Scouting journey as a part of the Pack.

18.01.2022 As we near the time when Queen's Scouts are presented to Governor of Victoria to receive their certificates, we reflect on our youth members and their efforts in achieving this Peak Award. These two Venturers from Moe-Newborough were presented with their certificates in 1983 and follow in a long list of awardees extending back to 1911 in Victoria, when it was known as the King's Scout Award.

12.01.2022 From the Howard Timbury Collection of glass slides. This plaque in the You Yangs commemorates Mathew Flinders survey of Port Philip Bay in 1802 at Flinders Peak.. These Scouts were hiking in the area, circa 1935. It would be great to see a contemporary photo of Scouts hiking in the same area today..

11.01.2022 Scout Heritage Victoria often receives little boxes (such as this cardboard chocolates box) from donations of deceased members. We endeavour to keep these together in the collection as example of 'knick-knacks' of a person's journey to activities and Jamborees and what they gathered and treasured during their time in Scouting.

03.01.2022 The striking and simplistic design for the 7th World Rover Moot held in Melbourne in 1961-1962 attended by 969 participants from 15 countries. The design by Levi Molineux, depicts the image of a Rover knight prepared for service to others. This was produced in metal and cloth memorabilia and is instantly recognisable by Rovers. It was the first World Moot held in Australia.
