23.01.2022 Joey Camp Out 2019 is officially finished. What an amazing weekend. All those Joey smiles have made the months of hard work by the volunteer committee worth it. There are more photos to follow but these amazing trail blazers got to experience the very first 2 night under canvas major WA branch event featuring a number of adventurous activities and a night navigation. The very first Joey Market Day was an absolute blast with the highlight being water bombing the BC Joey Scouts. So proud that these amazing Joey Scouts are the future of scouting in WA.

22.01.2022 A huge thank you to the youth members from other sections that supported the Joey Scouts on Joey Camp Out 2019. We had Aubrey (fondly known as "The Cub"), Quentin and Zac (Scouts), Crystal and Grace (Venturers), Emily and Erin (Rovers) as well as the 3 from 3rd Kalamunda District Rover Crew who did pancakes. We also had a cub and scout from Victoria Park help with canoeing on Saturday. Majority of these youth are leaders or adult helpers children dragged along by their paren...ts but you guys all were awesome and did a stellar job at supporting the youngest members of scouts to do amazing things. I got so many comments on how awesome you guys were and everyone was so grateful of all your assistance and hard work over the weekend to make this event so successful. 19.01.2022 The Joey Scouts will be challenging themselves on The Giant Swing. Free fall and scream from a maximum of 8 metres, before swinging weightlessly. Invert yourself for an extra thrill. Teamwork is also required to pull you up high.

As Market Day is new to Joey Scouts and Joey Scout Leaders, the Organising Committee we will provide each Joey Scout Patrol with some premade market day items for their stalls. Joey Scouts will also have time to make other items to sell as well as design posters for their Market Day stall. ... Check out these ideas and chat to your Joey Scouts about what they would like to make and sell at their stall. The Organising Committee/Leaders/Venturers will also have a stall. 06.01.2022 The leaders information packs and packing list has gone out to all the leaders. Please ask parents to get their Joey Scout to pack their own bags and gear. There is a parent checklist. Joey Scouts and Leaders also need to bring a lunchbox to pack snacks in for the Saturday as some activities like tunnels are a distance from Chris' Corner and patrols will pack their snacks in their daypacks at breakfast and lunch.

04.01.2022 The Joey Scouts attending Joey Camp Out from 4th-6th October 2019 will have a fun adventure exploring the tunnels at Manjedal Activity Centre. What a lovely day it was today walking around seeing all the Cub Scout Leaders setting up for Enduro while we were taking photos and doing some planning for activities.

03.01.2022 We have such an awesome team but as we are all so busy we have been unable to get a picture of us all together. There has been many hours our volunteer committee has spent meeting and working in our adopted Dome Cafe offices to plan and organise this event as well as many hours at home messaging, emailing, planning activities, catering, badges, paperwork and logistics. We all still run our section nights and half the committee are doing Enduro as well. We are so excited 10 more sleeps until the first Joey Scout Campout adventure begins. #volunteers #excited #only10moresleeps #joeycampout2019
