25.01.2022 Last night I palpated Cinnamons’ belly. The hands on version of an ultrasound. It took me a few tries but I finally felt 3 thumbnail size babies! Given it’s her first litter, 3 is the perfect size but there maybe more hiding that I couldn’t feel. We’ll find out in just over 2 weeks time.

18.01.2022 Meet Willow. She is a blue eyed Netherlands dwarf

13.01.2022 Nugget and her little pile of undercoat. Can you imagine the amount when she sheds her winter coat? Nugget is a Netherlands dwarf, one of the smallest breeds of rabbit. She’s a companion breed but her fur is super soft so I will collect it for spinning or felting

09.01.2022 Meet Nugget. She’s a Netherlands Dwarf and this is as big as she will get. This little girl is only a companion so she will be spayed when she’s old enough. All our baby bunnies will be spayed or neutered before going to their forever homes. This prevents serious conditions like uterine and testicular cancer as well as kerb unwanted hormonal behaviour like biting and spraying.

08.01.2022 I hope everyone is staying safe and as dry as can be. We are outside the flood zone, so all the animals are safe. Just a reminder that have organic, free-range eggs available. Just let me know how many you would like and a date to pick them up. None of my girls have ever had antibiotics and I don’t use pesticides.

05.01.2022 This is how much fibre you get from a baby angora x mini lop rabbit. Unfortunately, this girl came to me extremely matted so it will be a long process to get all that out. I’ll post a picture of her when she’s fully groomed. On the plus side, the fibre is extremely soft and warmer than wool. I’m looking forward to blending this fibre with some suri alpaca fleece.

05.01.2022 We have some amazing news! Cinnamon has started building her nest. That means her babies will be here in the next 2 days! Watch this space, I’ll post pictures and videos of the babies. If you’re thinking of adding a bunny to your family, this litter will be available in around 10-12 weeks time.
