25.01.2022 All good things must come to an end. With that, we present to you our final special guest to end this webinar series with an absolute bang - PEARL TAN! Pearl is a phenomenal force in this industry as a screen content creator and educator. She is also the founder and director of Pearly Productions, a filmmaking boutique with a focus on diverse stories.... Pearl was named a Woman of Influence by the Australian Financial Review and Westpac in 2016. She was featured in the book 200 Women, which showcased influential women from around the world, and delivered a TEDx talk entitled Reimagining Diversity. We are so excited to be in conversation with Pearl and are hoping to see you all there!! Next Wednesday at 5!!!

Yes, it's time to step back into cinemas. Due to COVID-19, Travelling Film Festival has partnered with My Cinema and world-wide content delivery service Qube Cinema to present My Cinema My Film Festival - First Edition! Supported by Screen Australia, My Cinema My Film Festival showcases in independent cinemas across the country. Ian Hyslop, manager at Gala Twin Cinemas in Warrawong is pleased to be presenting in the Illawarra. We are running all twelve features across two weekends; a blend of Australian and international films, Hyslop said. There’s something about it, going to the cinema. It’s a completely different experience to sitting at home in your lounge room. Plus, these films are unlikely to be seen on streaming platforms,’ he said. The film festival continues this forthcoming weekend.
