24.01.2022 Cameras are rolling again in Tassie! We're delighted that SBS Australia drama series 'The Tailings' is now shooting in Queenstown. Written by emerging Tasmanian writer Caitlin Richardson, the series will premiere on SBS On Demand in 2021.... The cast has been announced today and is led by two emerging stars, Mabel Li and Hobart’s Tegan Stimson (pictured), guided by the wealth of experience of our own Kris McQuade . The series will be directed by Stevie Cruz-Martin and produced by Liz Doran, Richard Kelly and Steve Thomas. 'The Tailings' is a Good Lark production for SBS, in association with 2 Jons and Roar Film. Principal production investment is from @screenaustralia in association with SBS and is financed with support from Screen Tasmania.

Following a screening of The Show Must Go On, hear from a panel moderated by the documentarys producer Sue Maslin that includes writer/director Ben Steel, Wide Angles Abi Binning and Lucinda Sharp from Forty South Tasmania. The panel will discuss the issues raised in the film, what action the broader industry can take and provide tools and resources to support individuals.
