24.01.2022 ATTENTION: Hi ukulele learners, Pls join me for a Try before you buy session today at lunch time. The venue will be the lounge area at Coastrs office from 12:15 to 12:45.... A little birdie told me that Coastrs are putting on free food at 12:00 so you can come with a full tummy. I will bring two ukuleles for those who would like to try it out, before purchasing their own (see attachment for Special SCU deal from Three Worlds at Burleigh Heads). The FREE ukulele lessons will be run every Wednesday at from 12:15 to 12:45 and from next week, you will need your own ukulele, digital tuner, carry bag and UkenPlay book. We will have a regular meeting room number confirmed by the end of the week, so for now, we will meet at the CoastRs lounge on 4th floor B building. Please share with any mates you have who want to learn a musical instrument. This is a great opportunity for free lessons on an instrument that is inexpensive to buy, easy and fun to learn. 23.01.2022 Were all in this together! #throwback to Bongo Bus Adventure in April!

22.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT: It has come to that time of the session that we have our first Bongo Bus Off- campus Activity! It is happening in less than 2 weeks! (Saturday the 2nd of April)... The Bongo bus is a half day activity, that will head off campus to Fingal Head. On the bus on the way there and back we will learn how to play the bongos as well as the Ukulele, once we reach the beach we will continue our fun and learn some more music (you can also have a dip in the ocean, so be sure to bring your swimmers!) It only costs $10 which will include your transportation and hire of the instruments for the day as well as snacks and drinks. There has been a lot of interest in the event and there are only 18 seats which will fill up fast! To reserve your space you must pay the $10 to the CoastRs office. Please get in touch if you have any questions by either PMing us, send an email to [email protected] or pop into the CoastRs office. Remember, first in best dressed!
