11.01.2022 An investment opportunity, I created this poster because I identified a need to invest this knowledge into mainstream Education, the movement of Maori away from their rohe into urban areas, has meant that the knowledge may be eventually lost. 2500 copies exist. Many of which are spread amongst the many schools and tertiary institutions in the North island of NZ. I'm offering the original master and frame (carved by Ray Hepehi Snr) up for auction. I created this poster explaining the basic method and requirements to cooking Hangi, I saw a need to reinvest this knowledge into mainstream education, as Maori have steadily moved away from their traditional areas to larger centres. Slowly losing parts of their culture. I created 2500 copies, many of which have been distributed through schools and tertiary institutes in the North Island of NZ.
