24.01.2022 Thanks for your comments, Likes and questions about the SCUTE fishing rod case and how to get one. I have had lots of questions about how to buy a SCUTE fishing rod case and the Kickstarter campaign. Here is a bit more information that I hope will be useful;... What is Crowdfunding on Kickstarter? It's the same as shopping online. The main difference is that the item for sale is not yet available in normal retail or online shopping. In many instances the business is a start-up and is looking for the communities support to get the first order made and delivered. That's us and yep, this is our first order. Will I get my SCUTE fishing rod tube? Yes, you will receive your SCUTE if we meet the funding goal. If we do not reach our Kickstarter funding goal you will not be charged any money. SCUTE will then launch via normal retail channels, online, shops etc. We will let you know by the middle of August. Backers and Rewards on Kickstarter? Backers are buyers (you guys) and a Reward is what you are buying, in this case a SCUTE fishing rod case or whatever you choose from the list of rewards. Options? Once the campaign is complete we will be in touch with every backer to confirm delivery and SCUTE fishing rod case options including length and configuration. We have 17 days left of the Kickstarter campaign. 14.01.2022 Here is something you don't see every day. On a recent boat trip we had a pod of dolphins join us for a session of bow wave surphing. The dolphins had a guest! Hard to tell but it looks like a grouper. Never seen anything like this before. If you have an ID on the fish or have seen the same thing let us know. See you out there!

04.01.2022 BATCH 1 all gone. That's the last few orders from our first batch run of SCUTEs. After years of planning and hard work it is great to see SCUTE in boxes and going out the door. A big thank you to everyone who has bought a SCUTE from our first run. We've had great support from WA retailers including Getaway and Tackleworld stores as well as Whiteys and Great Southern.
