We are a preferred fabricator of all leading brands of engineered stone. We provide marble and granite bench-tops to a high quality standard and have been in operation since 2016. We fabricate and install stone kitchen bench-tops, commercial counters, fireplace hearths, vanity tops, grooved sinks and... more. Every SCY Top Stone product has met the highest standards of beauty, quality, innovation and value. We are committed to providing excellent work to our clients with each job. We are currently searching for 1-2 experienced stonemasons to join the team in our Smithfield warehouse for a full time (approx 8 hours Monday-Friday) position. Tasks and responsibilities include: - Measuring profiles with the provided tools. - Safe handling and care of various stone types. - Ability to use a forklift to transport materials. - Apply various finishes to stoneworks. - Skilled in cutting, modifying, shaping, scribing, repairing and adept in the use of adhesives. - Assembling and fabricating various parts to create a finished product meeting project. deadlines within expected standards. - Ability to understand and interpret shop drawings. - Installing major stone fixtures with precision and care. Qualifications and experience: - Current forklift license (required). - Current driver’s license (required). - Previous experience in a similar role (required). - Permanent or temporary work rights with no restrictions.
