22.01.2022 Before and after pictures of a bathroom renovation

13.01.2022 This is our own ensuite, we wanted to create a more modern feel while staying with a practical bathroom. I had to create the falls in the shower base by excavating the slab and then laying screed. We had a standard 900mm x 900mm shower base prior. I made the new shower 1000mm x 1000m. Finished with a frameless 10mm shower screen. The vanity was custom made with 5 draws, the centre draw is a laundry draw. The top is 40mm caesar stone. We chose wall mounted taps for a smart finish. I removed the architraves from around the window and tiled using chrome trim to finish the edges. The mirror is set into the tiles and again finished with chrome trim.

10.01.2022 The client wanted to make the entry to the house more appealing. So we turned the steps around to create a nice flow from the driveway to the front door. We used 90mm merbau for the steps and decking. Handrail and posts are also merbau with stainless steel wire between handrail and deck.

07.01.2022 Simple renovation, I had to remove all the wall coverings floor to ceiling due to water damage and the walls being 20mm out of level (Plumb) I used a universal shower base on a wooden frame, then waterproofed and tiled. 600mm x 300mm Rectified porcelain tiles used for the floor and walls. Square set the ceiling to walls to get a nice finish. I also changed the window from an old wooden window to new sliding alluminium.

04.01.2022 A fairly straightforward renovation on a rental property, however the Lathe and plaster was a challenge and the home was over 100 years old so the walls were all over the place. We also had to move the doorway to accommodate the new shower. The tiles were ceramic and all external edges were finished with chrome trim.
