25.01.2022 Get a load of these two, love birds! Hayley & Ben are a much cuter couple than I bet they'd care to admit. Totally in to each other while we cruised around this gorgeous venue for some photo's. Ben surprised us all with some of his smooth moves! Surrounded by two gorgeous families and a bridal party out to have an awesome time, Ben & Hayley were married at the gorgeous hidden gem that is Cave Hill Creek. Mandy from Cave Hill Creek made sure that everything ran like clockwork,... as always. She's clearly very proud of her stunning venue and wants to be sure that everyone grows to love it as much as she does, with an awesome wedding experience. I also got to hang out with Dave from Twentyfour18 Productions (videographer), for the first time. Great guy to spend the day with. Hayley & Ben treated their guests to a beautiful day with delicious food and entertainment from the always on point, Baker Boys Band. Seriously great day. 24.01.2022 Jessica nailed it. There's no doubt that some amazing family and friends went above and beyond to make this the perfect day, but Jessica was the mastermind behind it all! John even suggested at one point during the day that Jessica should become a wedding planner. Jessica was quick to shoot that down. :-) The ceremony was set in the beautiful gardens of Eurambeen Estate, delivered by the always wonderful, Tania Bannister.... Guests were then treated to live music with a real Sunday Sesh vibe and an epic grazing table from GRAZE by Georgia. I really need to make GRAZE a requirement at all of my weddings! Trivia, games, donuts, sparklers, a fire pit, a band in a barn and pizza from Forge Pizzeria made for an awesome reception. I also met a competitive strong man who plays the ukelele and likes musicals... if I wasn't straight and married... and he wasn't straight and in a relationship... who knows?! WEDDING TEAM... 23.01.2022 Ash & Brendan chose their home town for the party of the year... which happened to be their wedding! Their amazing wedding party made sure that the day was full of love and laughter... they were a seriously amazing bunch to hang out with. 20.01.2022 Mel & Byron picked a stunning location in Halls Gap for their wedding. We had the most fun and relaxed day with an awesome bridal party. Mel & Byron chose to meet before the ceremony for their Bridal Party photos, which is a great way to relax the day and to spend more time together! It also means that they were able to join their guests for pre-dinner drinks, straight after the ceremony. The weather closed in as I arrived in Halls Gap, but there was a buzz about the day and ...we just knew we'd be ok. Between some impressive downpours, the heavens cleared every time that we needed them to. They were well looked after. An absolute pleasure to get to know these two amazing people... and their gorgeous fur baby, Trigger! Ceremony was performed by the always wonderful Kate Ritchie, from Ballarat.

19.01.2022 Charlene and Chris chose the stunning grounds of Willow & Stone Estate for their wedding day and they couldn't have been happier. From the stunning bridal suite where the girls stayed the night before the wedding, to the totally awesome container bar that you just have to see, the venue just keeps on giving. The wonderful Leisha & Carlos are the perfect hosts for their amazing Ballarat property. Charlene and Chris didn't stop with the venue when they were planning. They put t...ogether a great team of local vendors. Jilly Martino Celebrant delivered a stylish ceremony as she always does. Matty Chaps Music was amazing on the tunes before and after the ceremony and also during the reception. He's a serious talent, which makes up for his terrible personality... just kidding... awesome guy! Lou Lou's Florist arranged beautifully elegant bouquets, as well as styling the marquee for the reception and the impressive arrangement on the arbor for the ceremony. The day was a total blast with a bridal party determined to have an awesome day and they weren't disappointed. Apart from a little bit of speeches stressing, it was all good. Peter Ford Catering not only had a daughter in the Bridal Party, but Chris (Groom) also used to work with them. It was my first time working a wedding with Peter Ford Catering on board and I'm hoping that there will be plenty more in the near future. Seriously great food all night and a team that work hard to look after everyone, but never stop smiling... and Peter's sense of humour is right up my alley. 19.01.2022 Kerry & Garry chose the gorgeous setting of Myrniong for their wedding and had their ceremony and reception at The Plough. The gorgeous Margaret Richardson was their celebrant for the ceremony in the barn at The Plough, before we headed off to a local property for some photo's - Thanks to Greg and Jess for the use of the farm! We had an awesome time hanging out and although the weather was threatening, we cruised through perfectly! I assured Kerry that we'd be fine regardles...s of the weather. The evening was punctuated by the always awesome food at The Plough. There were plenty of laughs all round and the speeches were perfect. Congratulations again to the Fox and the Bunny. ;-)

19.01.2022 Brianna & Jorden booked the beautiful Lyrebird Falls for their wedding, in the Dandenong Ranges. Brianna spent the night before the wedding with her Bride Squad at a stunning property near the wedding venue and had a heap of fun. The day was action packed and although we were pushed inside for the ceremony due to the well timed rain, everyone had a great time. Jorden tried his best to keep things outdoors, but it wasn't to be.... The combined friends and family certainly know how to party, led by an awesome bridal party. Thanks again for having me... I had an awesome time with you all!

18.01.2022 Where can I start with this wedding... as Kyandra and Josh's said... Achievement Unlocked: Dinosaur Wedding! To say we had a lot of fun would be an understatement. This was a totally awesome day with a great bunch of people. ... 18.01.2022 Helen & Blaine were married in the stunning St. Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church, in Moonee Ponds. They couldn't have been more relaxed in the morning. It was chilled vibes all round, apart from Helen's mum ;-) She was awesome. We headed from the church to Queen's Park in Moonee Ponds for family photo's, before heading out to the stunning Marnong Estate for Bridal Party Photo's and the Reception.... It's a stunning venue with an amazing mix of the old, the new and the view (sorry Craig, I had to steal your line!). Helen & Blaine had allowed plenty of time so that things were nice and relaxed for everyone. The food (the main reason I go to weddings) was amazing, the drinks were flowing and tunes were pumping. It was a real family oriented day with an amazing bunch of people. It was great to be a part of it. 15.01.2022 Last week was a tough week for everyone who had an upcoming wedding. There were big decisions to be made while trying your best to follow the government advice and keep everyone safe. Their wedding was a lot smaller than originally planned and the reception has been postponed, but Renee and Nick (with the help of family and friends and the supportive team at Donegan's Farm) had an awesome day. With new rules and advice being released almost daily, this couldn't have happened ...a week later. Although compromises were made, I heard Renee tell Nick late in the day that she'd had an amazing day and didn't feel like she'd missed out on anything. I think Renee is happy so long she has Nick and their gorgeous kids. We really did have a fun day and we will get together again and have an amazing reception at a later date. 13.01.2022 Felicity & Jono had a perfect Ballarat wedding. The ceremony was held in the chapel at St. Patrick's College, where Jono attended high school. The amazing Buckley (fur baby) couldn't make it to the ceremony, so we popped back to the house for a quick visit after the ceremony, before shooting around town for some photo's. A ton of guests had snuck into Hop Temple for a drink before the reception at Housey Housey, so when the bridal party headed in, the party started early.... Adele and the team at Housey Housey were on point as always and the reception was buzzing. "The loud friend" did an awesome job as MC. Speeches were mostly hilarious, but when seven year old George stepped up, Felicity and Jono lost it... the young man wrote his own speech and did an amazing job. Wedding Team... 13.01.2022 Katie & Archie had chose to have their wedding at their home in Ballan, which was intimate and perfect. The vows that this gorgeous couple wrote for each other made sure that everyone who wasn't already crying after Archie's Dad spoke, had a tear in their eye. The weather wasn't playing nice, but we pushed through and headed out to a friend's property on the Ballan-Daylesford Road where the skies cleared for us to go for a wander.... Amber Kennedy delivered another perfect ceremony.

09.01.2022 Kate-Lynn & Frank had a gorgeous day for their beautiful wedding at Russo Estate. I photographed Frank's brother's wedding a couple of years ago on a wet and windy day (but still awesome!) and the difference wasn't lost on the family. Frank and his dad's Mustang's featured on the day, which was pretty special.... The last photo in the preview features the Maid of Honour (AKA sister) attempting to deliver her speech. She needed moral support, a temporary replacement and plenty of tissues, as she delivered a hilarious and heartfelt speech. Great day all round.

09.01.2022 Kim & Damien chose the gorgeous St. Anne's Winery for their wedding. Megan & the team did an amazing job as always and the day ran perfectly. Benny Roff was the celebrant and delivered the ceremony in a way that only he can. You don't forget a Benny ceremony! Kim & Damien's gorgeous girls did an amazing job as the Petal Patrol (Flower Girls).... The bridal party were heaps of fun to hang out with and they made sure that Kim & Damien got through the huge day with plenty of laughs.

05.01.2022 Kate and Sean's wedding was held at the gorgeous Willow Glen Gardens. It was my first time there and it did not disappoint. Their ceremony was delivered by the always fun and awesome Kate Ritchie. A prerfect ceremony in perfect surroundings. Their crazy bridal party were a heap of fun to hang out with. Between dodging swans near the lake and planning a range of album cover photo's for their "band", we still managed to get some beautiful photo's to mix in with the silly ones...... mostly G rated. There were plenty of laughs and lots of the good tears on the day... we also had the first Saturday with no rain in what feels like forever! Thanks for having me as part of your day. 04.01.2022 Michaela & Riley's wedding was a perfect way to finish the year. They met for a "first look", so we had finished the Bridal Party photo's before the ceremony. This meant that they could join the guests for pre-dinner drinks and soak up the atmosphere in the beautiful gardens of Cafe Sidra. We started the day in Learmonth, but had plenty of time to shoot into Ballarat for some photo's. ... Both Michaela & Riley come from big families, so we broke some records with the family photo's! Michaela's gorgeous Nana Dawn also walked Michaela down the aisle, which was beautiful. With a Sunday session vibe in the gardens and Convivium Food Experience making their delicious wood fired pizza, there was a real buzz in the air. Il Piccolo Gelato were also on hand, delivering the best Gelato you will find, anywhere! (try them at 217 Sturt St., Ballarat! Certainly a family favourite in my house) We headed out the back of Cafe Sidra as the sun was setting and topped off a perfect day. Thanks for having me... enjoy your honeymoon! Wedding Team... 03.01.2022 Molly & Sam are a classic Ballarat love story with some hilarious twists along the way! St. Pat's boy meets Loreto girl... but Loreto girl is totally uninterested in St. Pat's boy... fortunately for everyone at this awesome wedding... Sam is persistent. The stunning Loreto Chapel was the location for their wedding service, delivered perfectly by Father Justin. Bets were won as Sam went to pieces as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle, accompanied by her parents.... The bridal party headed off to Bishop's Palace and BIG4 Ballarat Windmill Holiday Park (Molly's family business... completed with jumping pillow which is bridal party tested) for photo's before going the guests in the gardens of Bishops Palace for the reception. The reception marquee from Ballarat Party Hire was exquisitely presented by a legion of family and friends who made sure every detail was perfect. After some hilarious speeches and some impressive dance moves from Molly and Sam, the band (After 5) kept the dance floor full for an awesome night of celebration. Wedding team... 03.01.2022 Kylie & Gary had an amazing weekend away at the beautiful Eastern Golf Club, surrounded by family and friends. The lads started the day with a round of golf, of course, then the weather started to close in as the ceremony approached. We opted for the indoor ceremony option, which was a good choice as the rain came along.... Spirits were far from dampened and the day was full of smiles and laughter. The skies cleared for us to head out for some photo's before heading into the reception. Clear skies ahead for these two awesome people. Thanks for having me!

03.01.2022 Ballarat couples are spoilt for choice when it comes to amazing wedding venues and Quirindi Stables is one of best. Allana & Darcy fell in love with Quirindi Stables and planned an amazing wedding day at this gorgeous venue, with the assistance of owners Sue and Keiran. Surrounded by (party ready) family and friends, celebrant Jo delivered a personal and fun ceremony in gardens.... Orla from Elderberry Event Hire setup and styled the amazing marquee for the evenings festivities, where guests enjoyed the hilarious MC (Tom) and awesome tunes from the band... No Plans. Fortunately for me... the boys decided not to head to the Ballarat Cup on the way to the wedding. I was joking when I suggested it and Allana may have killed me if the boys were late, waiting for a race to finish! Wedding Team... 03.01.2022 I was lucky enough to be back at the gorgeous Quirindi Stables for the second time in two weeks for another awesome wedding! Shannon & Lachlan were blessed to be surrounded by a ton of people who just wanted to make sure that they had an amazing day. The girls got ready at an amazing property in Invermay which was the family home of one of the bridesmaids, while the boys had a bbq... a couple of beers and maybe one glass of Craigellachie Single Malt, thanks to one of the groo...msmen... unfortunately I was working, so had to decline the offer. :-( Celebrant Tania Bannister was on duty to make everything legal and did a great job as always. Tania... you did get a lovely mention in the speeches! Shannon's bosses son entertained with some awesome tunes as the sun set over the hills. He's a serious talent, so keep an eye out for Reuben Rasmussen. Happy Campers Pizza's were serving up some delicious wood fired pizza from their awesome trailer and the boys from Victorian Mobile Bar Services made sure everyone was well lubricated. 01.01.2022 Every now and then I'm asked to photograph a wedding for someone I've known for a long time, which I love. When it's family... it's extra special. Terri and Neil tailored their wedding day in their own style and everyone had an absolutely awesome day. The weather was determined to play its part with one of the coldest November days we've seen, but apart from moving the ceremony inside, everything went as planned.... The Warrawong Woolshed is a great backdrop for a wedding. Terri and Neil planned an awesome event and partied late with an awesome bunch of people. Good times!
