23.01.2022 Jersey Day has been inspired by the story of 13 year old Nathan Gremmo, who was tragically lost in an accident in 2015. Nathan's family chose to give the gift of life to others to honour the legacy of Nathan's generous personality. Each Jersey Day schools and workplaces across Australia are asked to allow students and employees to wear their favourite sporting jersey to show their support for the DonateLife Network. Manly Warringah Basketball proudly supports Jersey Day, and ...we would love to see you wearing your favourite Jersey on Friday September 4, 2020, and help start a conversation about organ donation. Jersey Day is not about raising funds - it is all about raising awareness for The Organ & Tissue Authority and the DonateLife Network. Our intention is to fill social media with Jersey Day images and to encourage people to visit the donatelife.gov.au website to register their Organ & Tissue Donation intentions. You can also find additional information by visiting: https://www.jerseyday.com.au #donatelife #jerseydayau

17.01.2022 We understand there has been some confusion with regards to timing rules and regulations throughout our different competitions. We thank our community for their understanding and flexibility as we have had to make changes to timing rules to be able to play our local competition games within our scheduled times frames. We are constantly reviewing and revising these as our operational capabilities are relaxed and refined in a Covid-safe environment, and as such have made slig...ht changes to some of our competition rules. 10.01.2022 After a recent audit of the entry data into our competitions, it has been ascertained that not all spectators are signing in on the QR Code as a requirement of entry, and many are debating their right to bring in siblings or extra spectators. This behaviour is not acceptable. The MWBA is constantly reviewing Covid-19 guidelines as released by the NSW Government, Basketball Australia, Basketball NSW and the NBISC Board to ensure that our players and spectators are able to part...icipate in our competitions in a Covid-safe environment. The current regulations that we are operating under will not change for the foreseeable future. We ask that our spectators please sign in correctly, refrain from questioning or arguing with our staff, or asking for an exception to our current guidelines. If spectators can not do this, we will remove them from our competitions again. Any person refusing to abide by our Covid-19 Guidelines or Conditions of Entry will be asked to leave the venue. Current spectator guidelines can be found here: https://manlybasketball.com.au//MWBA-Spectators-at-games.p MWBA Conditions of Entry can be found here: https://manlybasketball.com.au//MWBA-Conditions-of-Entry-O If you have any questions with regards to our Covid-19 restrictions, please direct them to [email protected]

08.01.2022 2:10PM GAME CANCELLED The temperature on court is rising and we have had to cancel the 2:10pm game. Sorry for any inconvenience. ... Please keep checking back for updates throughout the day.

07.01.2022 Games times for next week's Grand Finals for MONDAY 21 SEPTEMBER are below. Due to the changes that we had to make to the season to fit in with the Government Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no semi-finals held this season and the top two teams will play off for the premiership. We have scheduled games to still fit within current restrictions, and also so that all teams can include all of their players (no limits), and a coach, manager and 1 other adult can attend.... We understand that everyone wants big crowds or spectators to watch, but under the current restrictions we just can't fit everyone in our venue. We would rather give all team members the opportunity to play. Cross your fingers that some restrictions lift soon and we can return to having spectators at some stage.

06.01.2022 A message from the MWBA President

05.01.2022 A special mention to our 4 Senior YL ladies Anna O'Donnell, Danni Shepherd, Josie Bulman and Annie Henderson have played since 2016, suffering countless heartbreaks in 4 consecutive years of finals weekends only to cross the line In their final year of youth league! 05.01.2022 We would like to thank our entire community for their continued support as we have made it possible to run our competitions in a Covid-safe environment. On Thursday 24th September the NSW Government announced relaxed restrictions on community sport with regards to spectators. Please note that these restrictions are still subject to any Covid-19 Safety Plans, guidelines or policies that venues may have in place, as as such the plans in place for MWBA and NBISC will not allow ...any changes to the spectator capacity for junior games held at NBISC on Saturday 26 September. Entry to NBSIC on Saturday will be allowed for the entire team, and three adults as previously notified. We hope to be able to implement some of these relaxations to restrictions when we return to competition in Term 4.
