25.01.2022 I was a landscape gardener, without any fat in my larder, until I took a job , on the local cob, in the old fashion form of barter. I dug a little hole , deep enough to sink a goal, beneath the shinus mole, the pepper tree by common scroll. And in return for a sunburn, I traded my muddy blundstones for Bob Murphy’s old ‘goin’ out boots’. I wasn’t allowed to work for a month two, now I can’t wait to hit the town in @bobmurphy82 ‘s hand me downs , I can’t wait to go stepping out in Bobs old ‘goin’ out boots. The ones with the broken brown leather. A couple pairs of socks to make ‘em fit a little better ..

22.01.2022 A friend of ours told me this is the only good song you’ve ever written I know some of you will already know who I’m talking about. We all miss his maniac’s smile. Up until now the only recording of this tune was in a txt msg to him but I’ve been digging up some old stuff to record while in lockdown. My thoughts are with any of you out there having a hard time through all of this . Don’t be afraid to reach out and talk.

06.01.2022 Back in Feb I was working out of town in a beautiful part of victoria , spending most of the week down there. Man I miss the open roads and getting away . One of my last days down there I worked until the afternoon, drove the 3 hours home and went straight out to meet Irene and play a gig with my dear pals. I can remember feeing so good setting out on that drive, life was really cool @irenetorresart
