04.01.2022 We were successful in getting funding for our "Communities - Stronger Together" project . The idea arose from our bushfire experience where there was a gap in the State's emergency planning for Aboriginal organisations and people accessing information and delivery of supports. Local Aboriginal organisations and volunteers sorted themselves out to provided much needed support, items and assistance to their communities. ... This project will develop a Community engagement Plan to: Roadmap existing informal partnerships and help us to formalise our community networks Review best sector practice in community development and tenant participation for regionally based Aboriginal communities To advocate for provision of better supports pathways for our regional tenants in order to improve tenant sustainability and long term housing.

01.01.2022 It's National NAIDOC Week and for 2020 "Always was. Always will be" celebrates the stories from thousands of generations of Australia's First Nations. NAIDOC We...ek is about encouraging Aussies from all walks of life to work together for a shared future. While COVID-19 has put a dampner on 2020 events, we've pulled together some of our fave pix from recent years. With special thanks to the 2019 Year 4 Dhurga choir from St Bernard's Primary School, Batemans Bay for the the music. See more
