18.01.2022 Hope you are all staying safe and warm inside during this wild weather. Make sure pets are brought inside, isolated outside objects are tied down and unused items are unplugged from sockets. Just a reminder that we are experiencing storm surges and king tides so take care when moving near the beaches.
18.01.2022 It's bin day! I still check both sides of the street to know which bin goes out. Also a reminder of Containers for Change! What goes in the bin or can be recycled for cash.... There is a recycling centre on Galbraith Loop. You could even donate to your favorite community group, charity, school or local sporting club if they are participating and have a scheme ID. Check their pages for details:

We also have many messages about lost or found animals - please directly post / share a photo as this is the quickest way to get the message out there. 12.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon the residents surrounding the Peelwood and Sugarwood thoroughfare, came together to talk about the reckless driving culture that has developed within WA, Mandurah and specifically the Seascapes suburb. Liza Harvey and Zak Kirkup MP addressed the increasing issue and a negotiation between the Mandurah City Council and the local community has commenced in order to find a solution. Going forward.. - the more you report reckless behaviour (make, model and nu...mber plate) the better police services are able to respond. - community voice is incredibly important in changing the current ongoing antisocial behaviour.

03.01.2022 Lost, Found items in Seascapes. Seascapes Community Association receives many messages about lost or found items every month. While it is great to try to reunite these with their owners, it has highlighted the need for residents to security label/mark/ photograph their possessions where possible so they can be returned to you.... Residents should report valuable items to the police as Seascapes Community Association can not verify ownership. ... Todays lost item (photo below) has unfortunately been broken off from a residents garden - he wont be labelled but if you find him we can verify his owner

01.01.2022 Today is World Environment Day encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. By coincidence today marked the start of a Dune assessment & mapping programme along our beautiful Seascapes coastline between Vanessa Road and Daydream Plaza. Seascapes Community Association were able to appoint a contractor to undertake this project as a result of us obtaining grant funding from The Australian Government Communities Environment Program. We are blessed with this beautiful coastal environment in Seascapes and together we can strive for a better environment and a better tomorrow
