17.01.2022 HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY EVERYONE!! I am proud to call Australia home and be an Aussie citizen, I moved here in 1977 from England, the place of my birth. An Aussie mum and English/Scottish dad. I still feel a pull towards my homeland and still consider myself a Brit, that never leaves and my heart truly hurts for what is happening in the UK right now. ... However I love Australia and the life and blessings and family it is has provided and right now in the midst of uncertainty in the world I am truly thankful for where I am and the culture I live in. 14.01.2022 This was me 12 months ago today - one minute I am enjoying my holiday and the next minute BAM!! 3 days in hospital in the lovely town of Mount Beauty Victoria (ah a long way from home) 2019 was not a great year for us personally, spiritually or medically and if you had said to me that day I took this photo that I would experience the profound changes personally and professionally that have taken place in 2020 I would have probably thought you crazy I look at this picture and ...know exactly how I was feeling that day and how I feel now - sure my knee is still stuffed and awaiting a knee replacement, but I am a FAR different person Our circumstances DON’T dictate our results - our MIND and THOUGHTS do... I thank God everyday for HIS blessings on our life

11.01.2022 October is Mental Health Month here in Australia and as we are still dealing with the long term effects of COVID19 - as the helpers we often forget to look after ourselves. Tomorrow is mental health day.. So what are you doing tomorrow to care for your mental health?... I will be going out for lunch (not having to cooks is awesome for my mental health).
