18.01.2022 Sometimes things don’t go as planned, we fell in love with our little Chokito only to find when we took her home within the first 24 hrs that she had a heredita...ry Groin Hernia and needed to have operations to fix this and to be spayed at the tender age of 8 weeks ASAP and that it is a fault in the breeders dog line.As a breeder I was buying her to breed with and finding out that this was not possible after a lot of thought we asked for a refund and to return the puppy. After having to threaten legal actions to get a full refund my husband then got attacked with a tomahawk by the breeders husband when dropping the dog off to get our money back in front of myself and my daughter. Yes he has been charged with aggravated assault and is waiting for his court case. As a breeder I feel liable for all the puppies I sell and would never knowingly or not sell a sick puppy let alone argue with someone over returning a sick dog. I will not name and shame but if you are looking to buy a miniature dachshund from within SA and have any questions regarding a breeder please inbox me. This was 2 months ago but I felt like I needed to tell our story as you all would be wondering where all the puppy love pictures are, unfortunately this has upset us greatly and put on hold the addition of another beautiful puppy to our family. 08.01.2022 Its was so hard to say goodbye to all of Lotti’s puppies from her first litter in April 2020, so what do I do buy myself a new miniature this is Chokito. Her mum is shaded red and her dad is a chocolate tan. She will breed beautifully with my handsome red boy Hunta in a few years time. Can’t wait to post a pic of Lotti, Hunta and her all together.

02.01.2022 After a minor set back, with thanks to Yankalilla Vet we have 7 healthy puppies and mumma. All doing wonderfully. Thanks too Jodie and Bianca for all your work.
