14.01.2022 I just signed a contract with Allen & Unwin for my next book, which will be out next year. It’s about Florence Violet McKenzie.

14.01.2022 This afternoon, David gave an entertaining presentation about Central Bureau to a large and enthusiastic crowd made up of members of the Kiama and District Historical Society, Friends of the Kiama Library and others who had heard he was in town. This time around there were SIX audience members with a personal link to someone involved in Australian code-breaking during WWII!

10.01.2022 Are you ready for RADIO GIRL? Mrs Mac and her girls in green had a chapter in the Central Bureau book. This time she gets an entire book to herself. Head on over to Radio Girl to find out more!

09.01.2022 Tonight was the night that Radio Girl was going to be launched at a fabulous event, with the ANU and Allen & Unwin Books, here in Canberra. Alas, of course, tha...t has been postponed. Instead, to our surprise and delight, we have a SONG to share with you! Written less than a week ago by the terrific singer song writer Daniel Kelly Music. Daniel, like Mrs Mac, trained as an electrical engineer. Last Thursday, after listening to the replay of David's ABC Radio National Late Night Live interview as he drove home, he was inspired to write and record this incredible tribute to Florence Violet McKenzie. Huge thanks to Daniel (who we hope will perform this tribute at the book launch when it is rescheduled). Enjoy! Mrs Mac would have loved it.

02.01.2022 It was an honour to be able to share Remembrance Day with several Australian code-breaking veterans of the second world war, at the Central Bureau Intelligence Corps Association event at Roseville RSL.
