16.01.2022 As we near the holidays I am starting to daydream about all the lovely things I'm going to do with my downtime! As well as getting back on my mat more, I am looking forward to getting my teeth into some books that have been waiting patiently for me on the shelf! 03.01.2022 I think for many of us that voice in our head gives us a pretty hard time. It can often be over critical and it is often hard to ignore, even when we know we should! At this time of year there are often many extra expectations put on us by others, at a time when we are often rundown and desperately trying to juggle everything as we head into the holidays. That internal voice can get even louder and just add to the pressure. Now more than ever it is good to be reminded to be k...ind to ourselves and give ourselves a little of that love we so freely give to others. As the song I am listening to as I write this just remind me "I wouldn't talk to a friend the way I talk to myself". A timely reminder to try and treat ourselves as we do a good friend and give ourselves some TLC .
