18.01.2022 The power of compounding. This chart shows returns over a 5 year period where investors can look at to see how their investment choices have performed not only against retail and industry funds, but also the ASX 300 Index. Regardless of the Banking Royal Commission or the "Compare the Pair" Industry Super Fund ads, SEQ's performance is clear to see.... But only one gives you a direct ownership portfolio, tax efficiency and most importantly access to your Adviser at all times, SEQ. www.ords.com.au/seq.html

15.01.2022 https://www.afr.com//super-investors-warned-about-turbocha This article could be a month old but couldn't be more pertinent in regards to the volatility in equity markets recently. Having a 'static' defensive asset allocation isn't going to help you when markets move with the volatility and force of today. But when you realise that your defensive assets are anything but cash, performance can deteriorate rapidly!... SEQ's cash allocation invests solely in short period term deposits with Australia's 4 largest banks. More importantly, SEQ's asset allocation is 'dynamic' as shown by the following graph. SEQ is at its highest cash allocation since 2011. www.ords.com.au/seq.html

14.01.2022 November was another heavy month for the Australian stock market with the S&P/ASX 200 falling 1.58%. This brings it decline for the current quarter to 8.16%. SEQ returned 0.60% for the month of November, outperforming by 2.77%. Total return as on chart, since October 2010, of 94.5%. www.ords.com.au/seq.html

12.01.2022 One of SEQ's greatest strengths in that risk is measured daily and acted upon dynamically. In general, SEQ's cash allocation increases as the market is seen as overbought, and decreases when seen as oversold. In other words, 'straw hats in winter.' But what about the underlying portfolio? Check out the graph below. The SEQ portfolio since inception without cash is up 167% compared to the ASX 300 of just 31%. If the market feels like musical chairs right now to you after the strong rally year to date, SEQ is currently sitting on 49% cash ready to take advantage if a winter storm approaches.

09.01.2022 Brutal week on the domestic and international equity markets. The S&P/ASX 300 Index has posted a fall of 4.64% for the week, and puts this October on track for the biggest monthly fall since May 2010. SEQ fairing better, off 3.2%. SEQ now sits on its highest cash level since inception, indicating interesting times ahead. To gain more of a perspective, feel free to get in touch.

05.01.2022 Not a market related post but a very important post. My wonderful wife Chantelle Santone, part of a great team in raising money for the Prince of Wales Hospital and supported very generously by Ord Minnett. A big thank you who have contributed to this great cause. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au//8eac5abdc1610f14bfe8b6d
