25.01.2022 At around 4:30am an Audi sedan crashed into a bus stop on Morris Rd, Rothwell It's understood a man and woman aged in their thirties fled the scene after a neighbour called for emergency assistance. A witness stated seeing the two alleged offenders set fire to the car.... Police searched the area with sniffer dogs but were unable to find the driver and passenger. 24.01.2022 A man has been rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition after his vehicle crashed down a cliff at Point Danger in Tweed Heads just after 5am. 21.01.2022 At around 3am Emergency Services responded to a suspicious car fire on West Mount Cotton Road in Mount Cotton Police believe the car was used in illegal activities and evidence was collected at the scene. Police investigations are continuing.
21.01.2022 At around 1:30pm emergency services responded to a caravan crash on Cunningham Highway in Willowbank. A woman was trapped under the 4 wheel drive for an extended period. Bystanders used a winch on another vehicle to assist with the rescue.... Wreckage was thrown into a nearby tree and across the road. Two people were taken to the PA hospital. Their condition is unknown.
21.01.2022 Emergency Services responded to a two vehicle Accident on the corner of Oxley Avenue and Georgina Street in Woody Point just before 7:30pm on Tuesday night. The Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene along with Critical Care Paramedics and treated a man aged in his 50s for suspected head & Internal injuries he was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Also a woman aged in her 50s who is believed to be travelling in the same vehicle was also taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with suspected neck injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was treated for shock at the scene but didnt need to be taken to the Hospital.
21.01.2022 At 12.01am this morning QLD Police commenced operations at Wallangarra as part of the QLD border closure measures that have been put into place. QPS Media release: Border restrictions... The community should avoid all non-essential cross-border travel to Queensland from tonight. State Disaster Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Steve Gollschewski said the restrictions would apply to all travel to Queensland by air, sea, rail or road. Interim arrangements will be in place to enforce border restrictions from 12.01am tomorrow, Deputy Commissioner Gollschewski said. Anyone trying to enter Queensland particularly by road on the Gold Coast can expect significant delays from tonight. We will aim to prioritise essential food, supplies and services. The community can help us by not trying to cross the border unless their travel is absolutely essential. We understand that people will be inconvenienced but these restrictions are being implemented to slow the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We are in the process of developing an online application and exemption system including a help line, but it will not be ready for tonight. We will have work arounds in place tonight but that could contribute to delays. Anyone who arrives in Queensland from another state or territory from 12.01am tomorrow must self-isolate for 14 days unless they are an exempt person. Deputy Commissioner Gollschewski said police and other emergency officers under the Public Health Act 2005 would be responsible for enforcing the measures. If a person does not comply with quarantine directions, penalties of up to $13,345 for individuals and $66,672.50 for corporations can also apply. Who is exempt from the requirement to enter quarantine for 14 days Those living outside the state who provide critical services to Queensland: National/state security Essential health services Emergency services Transport of goods or freight including food Critical maintenance/repair to critical infrastructure in Queensland Mining/energy/agribusiness who have a plan to manage COVID-19 transmission among employees. Queensland also allows a general compassionate grounds exemption as well as specific exemptions for those who live outside Queensland who: Are carers/relatives of dependent people in Queensland Need to obtain essential medical treatment including visiting terminally ill relatives in Queensland Are interstate boarding school students where school is closed Are required to comply with the law to travel to Queensland (for example, Family Court, parole/bail conditions). Additional exemptions: People who live outside Queensland but near the border who ordinarily work or study in Queensland to travel for that purpose, or travel interstate to obtain essential goods and services FIFO workers in commercial construction, fishing, mining, energy or agribusiness industries

19.01.2022 Police are investigating a house fire which occurred in Albion early this morning. Emergency Services were called to the Lucy Street address at 3.30am to find the house well alight and extensively damaged by fire. A crime scene has been established as officers work to determine the cause of the blaze.... At this time, police have not located a body at the residence. 17.01.2022 Queensland Fire and Emergency Services have quickly extinguished a fire that broke out in a room of a house on North St at Dalby this afternoon. 16.01.2022 Emergency Services responded to multiple calls to a structural fire in an industrial area on Huntington Street in Clontarf at around 1:45am. Multiple Queensland Fire Service units responded to battle the blaze which took over an hour to extinguish. Significant damage occurred to several buildings.... Queensland Ambulance supported other agencies. There were no reports of injuries. Police are treating the blaze as suspicious and Investigations are continuing.
15.01.2022 Fatal crash, Clintonvale Police are investigating a fatal, two vehicle traffic crash at Clintonvale early this morning. Just after 1am, a truck and a car travelling on the Cunningham Highway, just north of Eight Mile, collided head on.... The 54-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the car was declared deceased at the scene. The 35-year-old male truck driver was not physically injured during the incident. 15.01.2022 Police are appealing for witnesses following a traffic crash at Waterford West on Saturday night, March 7. Around 9:30pm, a Holden Commodore and Toyota RAV4 were traveling south along Longlea Road towards Waterford West before turning into Kingston Road. While traveling west along Kingston Road, the Toyota RAV4 lost control, left the road and crashed into a power pole.... A 47-year-old man remained trapped in the car while three other occupants, two women and a male, left the scene The occupants of the Holden Commodore were not physically injured. Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed the two vehicles, or have dashcam footage, to come forward. 14.01.2022 Police have charged two teenage boys with murder following the alleged stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy in Redcliffe on March 13. It will be alleged around 8.10pm three males confronted a group of four teenagers in a car park on Anzac Avenue. An altercation occurred during which a 15-year-old boy from Clontarf was stabbed in the chest.... He was transported to Redcliffe Hospital where he later died. Ongoing investigations by Moreton Crime Group and State Homicide Squad have today led to the arrest of two 14-year-old boys from Kingston and Logan Central. They have been charged with one count each of a murder and one of attempted armed robbery. Detectives are still investigating the involvement of a third male and appeal for anyone with further information to contact police.
14.01.2022 A man has been arrested after spitting on a Police Officer while Emergency Services were attending a unit fire in Warwick QLD overnight. At 10.40pm Emergency Services were called to a fire on Wallace St, Warwick and upon arrival found a unit well involved. The building was extensively damaged but its understood no one was home at the time of the fire. QLD Police are treating the blaze as suspicious and investigations are continuing. During the incident a male resident of the unit complex was arrested and transported to Warwick Police Station for allegedly spitting on a QLD Police officer who was in attendance. Charges are expected to be laid.
13.01.2022 A 25-year-old male has been airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition after a high-speed crash on Freestone Rd at Sladevale near Warwick QLD overnight. Emergency Services spent approximately 30 minutes extricating the man from the vehicle before paramedics and a specialist medical team from Lifeflight worked for over an hour to stabilize the man. The patient was airlifted to hospital.... The accident occurred at 10.35pm with the vehicle leaving the road before crashing through a fence and ending up 50 metres onto a property. The vehicle rolled several times prior to ending up on its side. The car was destroyed in the accident with debris spread over a wide area. QLD Police Forensic crash unit are investigating.
13.01.2022 Emergency Services responded to a two vehicle accident on the Ted Smout Bridge in Clontarf just after 6pm. The Queensland Fire Service along with the Police closed two southbound lanes but they thankfully had been re-opened just before 7pm.

10.01.2022 Police are continuing their search for the man and the woman whose plane went missing in the Moreton Bay area following a distress call on Wednesday afternoon. The 70-year-old male pilot and his 52-year-old wife, from Wakerley in Brisbane's Bayside, left on a scenic flight which departed at around 3:30pm from Caloundra Airport. Two water police vessels have been conducting extensive sonar imaging searches in the Flinders Reef area north of Moreton Island along with three Vol...unteer Marine Rescue vessels searching for debris in an area north of Stradbroke Island and jet ski searches of the South Passage Bar. A significant amount of debris from the plane has been found scattered over a large area. The crash will be investigated by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
10.01.2022 A 42 year old woman from Wuhan, China has been confirmed to have Novel Coronavirus on the Gold Coast. This will be the second confirmed case in Queensland in Australia. The woman is a member of a tour group travelling with the 44 year old man already confirmed to have coronavirus on Wednesday evening.... The woman is currently isolated in the Gold Coast University Hospital and is stable. Health officials continue to try and track down passengers on the groups flight from Melbourne to the Gold Coast. The group arrived on the Gold Coast on Monday 27th January at 8:40pm on Tiger Air Flight TT566. The tour group was staying at a privately owned apartment at the Peppers Complex in Broadbeach. Queenslands chief health officer will provide more details at a media conference later today.
10.01.2022 The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious accident in Clontarf on Brisbanes north side overnight. At around 11.20pm emergency services responded to the two vehicle accident on Macdonnell Road. It's understood a vehicle crashed into a parked Ute causing the Suzuki Swift to roll trapping the passenger.... Queensland Ambulance Service along with Critical Care Paramedics worked alongside the Queensland Fire Service to extricate the 29-year-old woman She was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious head, chest, pelvis and leg injuries. Police will allege a 30-year-old driver fled the scene. A police sniffer dog found the man and he was taken into custody. Senior Sargent Mark Spencer from the Redcliffe Police Station said from initial investigations the blue Suzuki was seen driving erratically earlier in the night before the accident. Its believed the woman who was a passenger in the vehicle wasnt wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident were the vehicle hit a parked car and rolled and she subsequently fell down into the drivers seat and became trapped. At this time she has some serious Injuries and she was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious condition. As for the male driver we know the driver and he is known to police and he was seen climbing out of the vehicle and running away leaving his female passenger trapped in the vehicle after the accident. The Queensland Police called in extra units including police dogs and they found the male driver a short time later and he was arrested and taken into custody a short time later.

07.01.2022 A fire at a commercial premises in Drayton St Dalby has been extingushed. Multiple fire crews were need to prevent fire spread. Police and Ambulance were in attendance to assist with scene control and fire-fighter welfare.... The extent of the damage and cause of the fire is being investigated. 06.01.2022 A 4WD towing a jet ski driven by an alleged drunk driver has crashed into a unit building on Wood St in Warwick Overnight. The unit sustained significant damage in the crash and power had to be disconnected from the property after a power box outside was damaged. Its understood no one was injured in the crash. QLD Police are investigating the incident.

Earlier Story: BREAKING NEWS | Its understood a 15 year-old teenage boy has died after being stabbed in the chest just after 8pm near Anzac Avenue in Redcliffe on Brisbanes Northside. Emergency services were called to the scene just outside the Redcliffe museum and found a teenage boy on the pathway unconscious and bleeding out from a single stab wound. Paramedics including critical care crews provided CPR at the scene and in the ambulance. Paramedics also treated another teenage boy who was found unconscious and unresponsive in the bushes near the scene and he was taken in a serious condition to the Caboolture Hospital. A detective recovered a small knife at the scene. A crime scene was established on Anzac Avenue and surrounding parkland near the community radio station. 06.01.2022 The Queensland Police Service (QPS) apologises for comments made during a media conference yesterday about the deaths of five people in Camp Hill. A thorough investigation is being conducted on behalf of the coroner. However, at this stage the investigation is being treated as the murder of Hannah Clarke and her three children Aaliyah, Laianah and Trey. The death of Rowan Baxter is not being treated as suspicious.... This is a shocking tragedy which has affected the whole community. Our thoughts are particularly with the family and loved ones. 05.01.2022 A man and his two young children are safe and well after a wild storm hit Clifton QLD on the Darling Downs this afternoon which tore the roof from their home. During the storm a water tank has also been blown several hundred metres, crashing through a fence before landing on the footpath of a neighbouring property. The damage was confined to the western side of Clifton with a number of trees also brought down during the storm.
05.01.2022 A man is assisting police with enquiries following the alleged stabbing of a woman in Bellbird Park overnight. It will be alleged around 12.40am a man attended at a neighbouring unit in a Redbank Plains Road unit complex. When the woman answered the door, the man lunged at the woman and knocked her to the ground before stabbing her in the left arm, lower chest and abdomen.... The 29-year-old woman was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition. A 71-year-old Bellbird Park man is assisting police with inquires. 05.01.2022 Serious traffic crash, Logan Reserve Police are investigating a serious traffic crash at Logan Reserve yesterday evening, which resulted in a man suffering critical injuries. Preliminary information indicates that around 5.50pm, a 23-year-old Slacks Creek man was driving north along Chambers Flat Road when he lost control of his vehicle, veered across the centre median strip and onto the incorrect side of the road.... The mans car rolled several times causing him to be ejected from the vehicle. He suffered critical head and internal injuries. 02.01.2022 A 32-year-old man has died following a horror crash in Chermside on Monday evening. Just before 8:30pm, emergency services were called to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Gympie and Rode roads. Initial investigations indicate that a white Toyota Corolla was driving in an easterly direction along Rode Road when it travelled through a red light and collided with a Holden Barina and Mitsubishi Pajero.... The Toyota Corolla flipped several times before coming to rest near a bus stop. Emergency services provided first aid to the driver and sole occupant of the Toyota Corolla, however the man died a short time later. A 57-year-old man, who was driving the Mitsubishi Pajero, was also transported to hospital in a critical condition. Occupants of the other vehicles were treated for minor injuries. All lanes have now been re-opened on Gympie Road after they were closed for a number of hours on Monday evening. Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing investigations. 02.01.2022 At around 11:30pm yesterday, Emergency Services responded to a car rollover near the Bearded Dragon Hotel on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road in Tamborine. Fire crews found the car upside down. It's understood the male driver was not injured.... Queensland police have taken the male driver for further testing due to an alleged positive breath test.
02.01.2022 Man impaled by steel rod in serious crash at Warwick A man has been airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane by the RACQ Life Flight helicopter this morning after a serious crash just outside Warwick QLD overnight. At around 2.30am the vehicle struck and killed a kangaroo before crashing through a fence. The vehicle then traveled through a paddock before crashing through a second fence and finally landing in a dry creek bed. ... A spokesperson for QAS has stated the driver of the vehicle, a 55 year old man sustained serious injuries after he was impaled through his shoulder by a steel rod in the accident. A second passenger was treated at Warwick Hospital with minor injuries. Four dogs in the back of the vehicle were uninjured. QPS Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the accident.
