23.01.2022 Currently working on an extension install and maintenance! :) This is a full head of dreadlocks of around 45 to 50 medium thickness dreads. They are still new, so remember to give your dreads 6 to 12 months to lock completely! Still needing about 30 extensions on this client

23.01.2022 IN PREPARATION FOR NEW DREADS!! Some people have naturally oily hair that doesn't dread easily. To ensure you get the most out of your dreading experience, here is what I suggest my clients do BEFORE coming to me for their dread needs! - Do NOT use conditioner for at least 2 weeks before you come to get your hair dreaded: This will ensure your hair is not 'slick and oily' and doesn't have any product in it. ... - Wash your hair every one to two days with NATURAL BASED SHAMPOO!!: I use the all natural shampoo from woolworths, costs around $7 a bottle and has no chemicals or any material in it that is NOT natural and plant based. - If you want your hair bleached, do so AT LEAST 2 weeks before coming to see me: Your hair needs time to relax after the grueling process of bleach. This will make your hair easier to dread of course because it will be dry and more porous but it does damage your hair and then there is the regrowth to think about if you are OCD like me with colour. - do NOT cut your hair!!: I can't stress this enough! People tend to get their split ends all cut before seeing me - pointless! The more hair, the better and the longer THE BETTER! The split ends will be hidden into your dreads anyway and fact is - dreads are KNOTS! so you really are wasting your money with the hair cut! - Prepare yourself mentally: Whether you are getting dreads for fun or for spiritual purposes - the outcome is the same! Dreads are fantastic and leave you with a carefree outlook on life! Dreads are not for everyone but you should NEVER listen to the opinions of others when you choose to get them - it's your hair, do with it what you wish!! Do some research so you know what you are getting into - it's not all roses and you DO need to keep up maintenance so be informed! If you are 100% committed after that, then hell yes, come and pay me a visit!! $35 an hour - regardless of the job - and I can come to you or you can come to me! $5 - $20 per extension depending on colour (I make every extension myself AND colour them also) Hair Wraps, clips, beads, accessories, etc - prices vary! 16.01.2022 For Dreadlock Extensions - I do NOT purchase them pre-made before installation (you never know if they came off someones actual head and are filled with all sorts of nasty things!) I purchase 100% A+ grade human hair and I make all extensions myself. This includes the coloured ones!! If you'd like some multi coloured extensions, let me know the colour and I can make them up for you. ... Cost per extension varies based on colour (not length) ranging between $5 and $20 per extension. Below are some extensions I was working on over the week.
