24.01.2022 What do you think, some new moves for our next concert series?

22.01.2022 Bowral was treated to a very special Christmas item! Serendipity was asked to perform at the Bowral Family Carols, joining forces with the Southern Highlands Christian School Senior Choir to sing Benjamin Britten’s Classic carol, This Little Babe.

21.01.2022 The Cantique de Jean Racine is a favourite of Serendipity, the choir and was one of the pieces chosen for our 10th Anniversary Concert Musical Milestones. The text Verbe égal au Très-Haut is a French paraphrase by Jean Racine of a Latin hymn from the breviary for Matins. It was composed by Gabriel Fauré when he was nineteen years old. He entered it into a composition competition at the École Niedermeyer de Paris and it won him first prize. The work was first performed in Monivilliers Abbey on August 4, 1866.

19.01.2022 Wishing all our followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thankyou for all your love and support throughout the year, looking forward to making more music and memories in 2019.

16.01.2022 Serendipity has unfortunately had to cancel the May 2020 Concert due to the Coronavirus. This will be postponed to May 2021, keep a look out for Dec 2020 "Lights, Camera, Action".

08.01.2022 The first Bayreuth Festival in 1876 opened with the first complete performance of Richard Wagner’s Ring Cycle. It began with Das Rheingold on August 13 and ended with Götterdämmerung on 17 August.

04.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 restrictions Serendipity, the choir has rescheduled ALL concert performances to 2021. Our choir members are keen to resume singing together BUT, at this stage, it is not permitted.

03.01.2022 In the midst of hardship we hope this brings a smile to your face.

03.01.2022 Vale Richard Gill
