They’re saying between the years that we changed over, we’d actually accumulated tolls to these other vehicles, unbeknownst to us, that’d grown to about $1300. The overdue tolls were then swiftly escalated through the courts... Obviously we put up no fight to this, and the amount that was awarded to them was $18,380."... 05.01.2022 Have you paid "non payment" or overdue fees for Queensland road tolls? If so, you may be eligible for compensation and are encouraged to register for this class action. Hilton Bradley Lawyers have commenced a class action against Queensland toll road operators (collectively Linkt), seeking compensation on behalf of persons that used a Queensland toll road, did not pay the required toll on the spot and, as a result, were invoiced for and paid additional administrative char...ges. Hilton Bradley considers these administrative charges to be excessive and not reflective of reasonable cost as permitted by Queensland law. As such, the class action asserts that a bulk of administrative charges paid over the last six years should be refunded to Queensland toll road users.
