08.01.2022 Part 2 Serenity Press Retreat author showcase. Day 2 of our Serenity Press retreat was when we showcased all of our attending books to readers and industry connections from Ireland. We even had a local guy called Jocky row in from a local island for the morning. The energy of the day was amazing. The authors from the retreat each took time to speak and many became international speakers for the first time. 02.01.2022 We are delighted to announce that Vanessa O'Loughlin will join us for our writer's retreat at Crom Castle, Ireland this year. Vanessa Fox O'Loughlin is the founder of the multi-award-winning website Writing.ie, she also founded The Inkwell Group publishing consultancy and is Ireland's leading literary scout - she has assisted many award-winning and best selling authors to publication. Vanessa conceived and developed the National Emerging Writer Programme for Dublin City of Li...terature, and was the lead consultant and presenter for WritersWebTV. Vanessa is the Chair of Irish PEN. Vanessa has been writing fiction since her husband set sail across the Atlantic for eight weeks and she had an idea for a book. She is represented by Simon Trewin (simontrewin.co.uk) and writes crime as Sam Blake. The first of her Cat Connolly thriller trilogy LITTLE BONES was published in May 2016 and hit the bestseller list, spending 8 weeks in the Top 10 with 4 weeks at No. 1.
