24.01.2022 ORIGINAL RELIGIOUS ARTWORK Some advanced notice of an original which will be available for purchase on Tuesday 15th October. It is a very intricate Religious piece and it includes the words from Joshua 24:15, 'But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord'... Based on an ancient Crucifix design, the wording is woven right through the entire design. It will be a unique, classic and stunning to view. If you have an interest, please message me to discuss.

21.01.2022 Another new piece, this time its one that has been requested many times over the past 12 months, it's the Lord's Prayer but with a difference, it is surrounded by a micro written Psalm 23. Hope you like it :)

21.01.2022 Here's an example of wedding vows recently completed for a client. Two bottles of champagne containing vows being poured into the one glass and set against a misty photograph of the happy couple in the grounds of Peter Drayton's winery. The bottles have the names of the couple and the date of the wedding. Ideal for weddings or anniversaries. Hope you like it!

19.01.2022 The officianados will recognise this car as a Triumph TR4, in fact a 1964 TR4A. A great car a model that I once owned but this one is extra special, as you will see it's all in words, a lyric from Les Miserables, Bring Him Home, and a history of the Triumph TR4 all written in to form the vehicle shape. This was a commission piece that took a long while to complete, not quite as straightforward as thought.

17.01.2022 I have had this piece ready for some time and just hadn't got round to properly launching it but here it is now. THE GOLFER! It is a classic image of a golfer in full swing! The wording is actually a full list of the top 100 Golf Courses in Australia for the next year 2020.. For those interested, it will be at the market from this Wednesday, 11th December 2019.... The initial price for the A4 signed print is $30 on board with a cellophane sleeve. The larger A3 version is $35 signed. It is a limited edition of 100 signed prints so they will go quickly. 11.01.2022 Speaking with a number of customers and those that have shown interest in the work I do, it seems to me that it would be a good idea if I explained some of the challenges faced with this form of art. Micrography or 'small writing' as an art form goes back hundreds of years. Its first recorded use was in ancient Mesopotamia when the used small clay tablets, about 25mm squares, and engraved miniature hieroglyphics onto the firm surface of these tablets. 10.01.2022 This is something I have been working on for a while. It is for Anzac day and it's meant as a tribute to all of our service people past and present. As you can see it's a VC and I have written in the names, the units and the years awarded for the 100 Australian recipients of the VC since 1900. It's all in miniature so I will be adding a full list in a spreadsheet format. There is no cost for this print, please feel free to download it for your own use.

08.01.2022 There will be another special and original piece based on a Bible verse that which will be made available within the next few weeks. The verse is from JOSHUA 24:15: 'As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.'... It will be in the form of a cross. It is widely used amongst those of the Christian Faith and is often seen over doors or within the house as a Plaque. To my knowledge, this is the first time that this particular design using those words intertwined within the form of a cross has been done. Please contact me if you would like further information.

07.01.2022 The Red Sax, just completed for a valued customer. Works like this take time but the end result is well worthwhile, an original handwritten word art piece as a gift or as an original for your collection.

07.01.2022 This very special piece was created for a school principal on his retirement in 2018. It contains the names of all of his staff along with the school motto. It reflected the Principal's love of the ocean and the incredible respect that he had for the staff members. It was a delight to work with him and to observe at first hand the amazing relationship he had with his team. His professionalism and warmth are his Hallmarks.... This kind of work involves a great deal of time and effort, writing at sub 1 mm heights for the outline of the piece should only be done in short bursts of no more than 20 minutes at a time and cumulatively no more than 2 hours in a day. To exceed that puts high levels of strain on eyes and on the muscles in the hand. As a consequence, such intricate pieces can take a good deal of time to create.

04.01.2022 Portraits are not the easiest thing to do but they work well. This one is William Shakespeare and the wording used is from Romeo & Juliet, Act 2, Scene 2. Some of the wording in the portrait is faded and some more obvious. Apologies for the watermarks, this was one for a client.
