27.04.2022 WEAR ORANGE WEDNESDAY | 2022 How awesome was our morning at St Anne's Catholic Primary School!! This is by far one of our most favourite parts of being a volunteer. Seeing the faces on these Prep students and watching them soak up all the information we had to share is absolutely something else!!... We really wanted to get the message across the importance of knowing their full name, knowing their home address and knowing at least one of their parents mobile phone numbers. Something all children should practise and know in case of emergencies. Thank you to the wonderful St Anne's teachers for making us feel so welcome! 19.01.2022 Sunbury SES #SaysNoToViolence As a community, we stand united with survivors of family violence. Last week was "The Week Without Violence", an annual campaign to end violence against women. Here in Sunbury Goonawarra Neighbourhood House, Sunbury Community Health and Sunbury Neighbourhood House lead this campaign, this year they did this by asking community groups to share the message by chalking up the message on the ground.... Sunbury SES takes our responsibility as community leaders seriously and we are happy to add our voices to this important campaign. 13.01.2022 WATER OVER ROAD ELIZABETH DRIVE AT RESERVOIR ROAD SES crews have been called by Police to significant water over Elizabeth drive. Crews are currently pumping water into Blind Creek, awaiting Council crews to assist with unblocking storm water drains.... We are asking drivers to seek an alternative route or if this is not possible observe the 40km/h speed limit past the scene.

04.01.2022 SUNBURY SES - SPOOKFEST - IT'S BACK! It is important to us here at Sunbury SES that we keep up our tradition of spoiling Sunbury’s children at Halloween. It is equally important that we do this in a Covid Safe way. ... So in this ‘spirit’ our members will remain in our trucks with a couple of members walking in front for the safety of everyone. We will be moving slowly along the most popular Halloween ‘haunts’ around Sunbury (no parks) from 6:30pm and showering the kids with lollies. Please don’t approach the walking members (they won’t have the loot anyway).
