25.01.2022 I thought today I would be topical. It's Halloween in 10 days. The holiday has been cancelled in so many places, and we don't really celebrate much here in Australia but I do love Halloween quilts and other textile goodies. 22.01.2022 I keep thinking about Christmas, but I am only thinking so far. Probably need to start doing as well. Today I posted some new patterns from Laura Heine of Fiberworks. She does the most gorgeous large applique collage quilts and she has recently released a series of little easy blocks. These would be great to make for friends, or give the pattern to someone - maybe from your sewing group or someone you haven't been able to sew with because of Covid. check them out - there are a dog, cat, peacock, scissors and fishbowl. 15.01.2022 Continuing the Seasonal theme today. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia so the next big deal is Christmas, my favourite time. There are so many Christmas patterns in the shop - this lot are decorative in nature, ideal for hanging in your home or making for loved ones to decorate their homes. 14.01.2022 Goodness gracious, it's Monday again. It seems to come around so quickly. Well better get started on all the things that need to be done. Lots of listings coming, and hopefully something for everyone. I'm never sure what sort of things to post here so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. 09.01.2022 Another thing that has recently been on my mind is the weather. I am now living in Tasmania, but it is still getting warmer and I think I need some new clothes - and what better way to get some than to do some sewing. So today is all about sewing clothes. There are quite a few patterns in the shop, mainly for women but a couple for kids as well. This is just a small selection.

08.01.2022 Sorry I posted repeats yesterday. Obviously I hadn't looked at my feed so today I am making sure that these are new - new to me and the shop and hopefully new to you as well. They are all quilt patterns, but all quite different and gorgeous. First is Prairie Tracks (a fabulous modern take on a star quilt), next is Stepping Up (quick and easy and done with 6" strips) and lastly is Colour Bug (perfect for lovers of bright colours and fun quilts). 07.01.2022 Following on from themes last week I thought I would do some more - so today is Valentines Day and then I might post some Easter stuff. Plenty of time to get projects started and made before those holidays. Hearts are a fabulous motif to use for Valentines Day but if you are not a huge heart lover then maybe something like these cute giraffes might work. 04.01.2022 I have been slowly going through my huge stash of magazines and reluctantly have to let go of most of them. Today I have listed some Quiltmania and Cross Stitch Gold as well as a few others. 01.01.2022 Well, it's a long time since I've been on here and a lot has been happening. Apart from the obvious Coronavirus, I have moved to Tasmania (taking the shop with me) and been unwell. But things are looking up. Tassie is still not allowing visitors to come in but my health has improved and I am able to get out and about more. As for the shop, a lot of stock has run down but there is a lot more coming. I have several large orders in that I will try to get listed over the next wee...k or so.
