09.01.2022 Hi Everyone! As promised, here are the details for my first classes. All classes have a maximum capacity of 6 people and run for 1 - 1.5 hours. All materials provided and included. Children's Beginners - Tuesdays 4-5pm... For children aged 10-12- 4 x 1hr sessions 1. 28/5, 4/6, 11/6, 18/6 2. 23/7, 30/7, 6/8, 13/8 Skills taught - Learning to identify equipment, ironing, hand stitching and simple "fix-its" such as buttons, press studs and mending a hole, machine threading and making a bobbin, straight and zig zag stitch, making a tote bag with basic applique. $120 Adult Beginners - Fridays 7:30-8:30pm For teens and adults (13+) - 2 x 1hr sessions 1. 31/5, 7/6 2. 2/8, 9/8 Skills taught - Learning to identify equipment, ironing, hand stitching and simple "fix-its" such as buttons, press studs and mending a hole, machine threading and making a bobbin, straight and zig zag stitch, making a tote bag with basic applique. $70 Adult Basic Garment Construction - Fridays 7:30-9pm For ages 13+, basic machine skills required - 2 x 1.5hrs 1. 14/6, 21/6 2. 16/8, 23/8 Skills taught - Reading and navigating a pattern, learning about fabric (grain, selvage, nap, right/wrong side, composition and uses), cutting out the garment, sewing and finishing techniques. $90 or $70 if you BYO fabric SCHOOL HOLIDAY INTENSIVES 10th/11th/12th July Teddy Bear Making - 10:30-11:30am Ages 10+, basic machine skills required (such as beginners course or former knowledge) Skills taught - attaching eyes and noses, embroidering face detail if required, sewing with fur, stuffing your bear, making bear clothes (time permitting). $105 Children's Beginners - 1:30-3pm For children aged 10-12 Skills taught - Learning to identify equipment, ironing, hand stitching and simple "fix-its" such as buttons, press studs and mending a hole, machine threading and making a bobbin, straight and zig zag stitch, making a tote bag with basic applique. $120 Bookings can be made via phone - 0431183878 or email - [email protected] Look forward to seeing you there!!
