24.01.2022 Almost finished the toile for my first multi panelled, tailored jacket.

24.01.2022 I was lucky enough to be able to take a few offcuts from the Ink &Spindle workshop today for an upcoming assignment. Amazingly generous and it was great being able to go in and see where they work. Thank you Caitlin for allowing me to visit today. Will certainly use some of that beautifully printed cotton hemp blend.

23.01.2022 Channeling my childhood with some bay city rollers inspired pant... would you wear them?

23.01.2022 Making a superhero costume for my littlest super hero! (And yes, that is sitting in top of several Christmas projects)

22.01.2022 I now have the knowledge ... making my own fructose indigo vat. Sustainable (can last for more than a year) and can be disposed of safely in the garden when the dye has been exhausted.

22.01.2022 Something to show for my first 6 months at RMIT. My raised waistband was mighty tricky and still requires a little tweaking but overall happy with the result. Will be making this one again for women of all shapes and sizes :)

21.01.2022 Still working on homework.... my interpretation of peacock feathers

18.01.2022 200 hexies to sew. Why do I do this to myself!?

16.01.2022 Thank you Meriel of Full Circle Fibres for this lovely mail. These samples make me happy. 100% Australian grown and milled cotton fabric. I'll be in contact soon!

14.01.2022 And I'm done!! First year done and dusted... and I managed to pass with not so shabby marks. As for pin tucks ... never ever again!!!

12.01.2022 Another day, another assessment. This one is 'from film to fashion'. I've decided to focus on a movie called 'The Fall' (Director Tarsem Singh). If you haven't seen this movie, stop everything and watch it now. It's amazing in every way.

08.01.2022 Slashing... extremely therapeutic.

06.01.2022 Hi. Making face masks. $15 for adult, $10 for kids. Mine may be slightly dearer that others as I’m using Velcro to fasten around head and high quality quilting fabric and twill tape. Three layers ( 2 cotton, 1 non worn interfacing) and wire (pipe cleaners) for a snug fit around the nose. Wire can be removed for washing. Warm wash (60 degrees if you want to ensure you kill bugs) in a delicates bag with your regular wash.

04.01.2022 A very happy catboy off to his bestie's superhero party

03.01.2022 Pulling a few late nights to get this assessment done
