21.01.2022 Can everyone please remember to carry a sand bucket and fill your divots. And also fill any others you see. With the wet conditions there has been an increase in divots, and some are very big. Please try to repair. Even if you’ve run out of sand. Just try to repair.

19.01.2022 Again bad news for Seymour GC. Sometime on Wednesday night or Thursday morning someone or some people have smashed through the front gates then broken into the machinery shed and stolen the quad bike But then were so considerate and closed up and left. They have caused a lot of destruction to our main front gate though.

18.01.2022 WHY???? Again last night we were broken into. This time a lot of damage to various buildings and things stolen, such as people’s golf clubs. WHY??? If anyone knows or hears anything please ring the police and let them know.

14.01.2022 Yahoo!! .. we are free again . well almost. Competition Golf will resume as from Saturday 19th September, as per the Syllabus, under the Golf Vic guide lines. (Please refer to GA guide lines.) These include, in part, playing in groups of three or four. Wearing face coverings while playing. Flag Sticks not to be removed. One person per motorised golf cart. Keep own score cards.... Reminder, there are still some unfinancial members playing. You have until 01 Oct to become financial. After this date you will be asked to pay full Green Fees before playing. Enjoy your golf. Phil Jarvis. Captain. - CLUBHOUSE OPERATIONS This Saturday the clubhouse will be open for serving of drinks only, from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. Di Byrne has volunteered to be the barperson for the afternoon. Drinks must not be consumed inside the clubhouse. You are welcome to sit outside and follow the 1.5M social distancing condition. Please respect the opportunity, and Di’s efforts, and have a pleasant afternoon. The Committee will meet next week to iron out the details for continued operation of the clubhouse.

10.01.2022 What to do when you are on holiday leave from work but cannot go away. Go out with your mower and help maintain your volunteer operated golf course. A perfect day to be outside and enjoy the very mild winter weather Good to see volunteers out there doing jobs to keep the course going. Thank you to the volunteers ... Every bit of help is very welcome. Even just an hour to rake up sticks or a hand mower tidying up or some garden maintenance around the clubhouse It would be wonderful to see people out there to give some time to keep the club alive. The annual report of the Committee on the activities of the Club during the past financial year. 2. The financial statements of the Club during the past financial year. To elect the Members of the Committee. To confirm or vary the amounts of the annual subscription and joining fee.
