What does this mean for students?...Continue reading

11.01.2022 Today is R U OK Day? The Seymour FLC community are asking you if you are OK? If not, please ask for support. We are here to listen. If you are ok, call a friend, a family member or your neighbor to see if they are ok.

09.01.2022 Dear Families, Due to the advice of the State Government we will enter a 5 day lock down. This will impact school from Monday to Wednesday. Our school is closed, with exception of Students of Essential Workers. Students should remain at home unless leaving the house for the 4 reasons. Those students of Essential Workers should email or phone the Site Principal as soon as possible should your child require supervision. Shane 0408585804 or [email protected].

07.01.2022 We at SFLC have had the opportunity to partner up with G.O. (Goulburn Options) to start a succulent social enterprise. We are asking people within the community to help us any way you can, if you could please donate any used jars, cans, cups, knick-knacks, or any small things like these that could serve as a small vase for succulents. Please, nothing too heavy to hold or damaged. We are also seeking any cactus/succulents cuttings to help up create these beautiful succulent creations. If you have any of these things and would like to help support this social enterprise please drop them at the office at SFLC.

05.01.2022 As you would be aware, the Victorian Government has introduced new measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire. To provide further assurance, our school, along with all other government schools in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire, will be conducting temperature checks for students who live in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire. The Victorian Chief Health Officer has confirmed that the use of face masks o...r coverings by adults or children is not recommended in schools at this time. As has always been the case, students who wish to wear face masks in school and in going to and from school may do so. If you, your child, or a family member develops symptoms of a fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell or taste, you should get tested at a coronavirus (COVID-19) testing facility and stay home. If you would like health information from the Department of Health and Human Services, you can visit dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus These continue to be challenging times and I will keep you updated on further information as soon as it is available. Stay well and keep safe. Shane Elliott See more
