24.01.2022 My kitchen is not huge but have always wanted a butcher block in the center of it. Have searched for ages and found this little cabinet that I knew I could revamp. I was going to leave timber but I just can’t help myself. It has a granite insert top so will still take hot pots knives etc. So I have added casters, taking off hardware(going to paint mat black) and painting it Dorians Grey from Canterbury Blue.

24.01.2022 I purchased this little unit of a friend many many years ago. It had a door and side panels with meat safe mesh on. Bit as you can see it’s not a meat safe. Do you know what it is? I have stained the draws dark. Painted her in one of my favs Farmhouse Green from Canterbury Blue. Sanded the top and sealed with there liquid wax. And I used there new protective top coat to seal the rest. Wow wow how great is this sealer!!!

23.01.2022 So the white just didn’t cut it. Started to get some bleed through so just stopped painting. So as I started sanding off just that lovely grey wash affect was happening. So that will be how it will end up. Just need to sand cabinet. And I think I might use white wax on timber top.

16.01.2022 Handles for my sideboard before and after. I hate throwing away handles and try to reuse if possible. So I painted this one in Francisco Grey from @canterburybluefurniturepaint to see how it would look. Gave it a light sand. Love it! The centre piece is copper so just a quick polish and put back in. 07.01.2022 She is up in house. Doors on( glass needs cleaning) handles drying. Now I love my grey but it’s still a bit dark for my dining room. So after a month when wax cures I’ll try white again and see what happens
