19.01.2022 This is honestly how I've been feeling lately. No inspiration.
19.01.2022 Last night, at Life Drawing Gladstone, we were drawing Scott. His wife, Tracy, was drawing alongside us. And then they politely asked if they could model together. It was quite a challenge but so much fun! At the end, they asked to buy my drawings of them together! That was a nice surprise.
19.01.2022 This gives a great amount of perspective when talking about the recent announcement of the financial package for the arts. I still think there's this pervasive belief that artists are unimportant and yet, the same people are happy to share spoilers for the latest show they are bingeing on Netflix, or wear that band shirt or link to that edgy comedian's take on Trump's hair or fawn over that little girl dancing in front of the painting of a dancer. We are literally here for yo...ur entertainment. Please appreciate us on a deeper level. #auspol #AusPol2020 #ArtistsAreNecessaryWorkers #artistsareessential
19.01.2022 My favourite drawing from our session at Life Drawing Gladstone tonight. We had a nicely sized group and there were some giggles which really made it worth it. Thank you Andriea!!
19.01.2022 This is generally one of my favourite parts of the Hanson: hearing the judge talk about various pieces of work, including the winning pieces. And so nice this year to know some of the winning artists and hear their work described in such thoughtful ways
18.01.2022 Go have a look at Ron and the description of his artwork by following the link listed below. There's a strong and important message depicted. Also, you can vote for his work ;)
18.01.2022 I realise I havent been sharing much of my art lately... So! Here's two drawings I did at Life Drawing Gladstone this evening. I'm feeling pretty proud! Many thanks to Chris from Colorado.
18.01.2022 One day... I want to make it as a finalist for this. Perhaps I'll try to enter some time in the next few years.
17.01.2022 An old painting of mine
15.01.2022 I'm trying a slightly looser style at Life Drawing Gladstone currently.

13.01.2022 An encore from Chris of Colorado as our model tonight at Life Drawing Gladstone. It was a lovely session and everyone seemed to enjoy the evening :)
11.01.2022 Thanks #WordsWithFriends. I didn't need the reminder of how artists survive.
10.01.2022 I'm so honoured to be included in this eclectic bunch of artists! Stay tuned for a chance for people to be involved in my project...

01.01.2022 Last night, we had a small crew for Life Drawing, but oh-so-many laughs. And yes, that drawing in the middle has a 6ft long Caterpillar. Thank you for such a fun night Bryony, Callum and Hayleigh!
01.01.2022 How wonderful! "It's fourth time lucky for Vincent Namatjira, great-grandson of acclaimed artist Albert Namatjira, who has become the first Indigenous Australian to win the $100,000 Archibald Prize in its 99-year history.... The Western Arrernte artist was an Archibald finalist for the fourth consecutive year in 2020 (having been the runner up in 2018), with a double-portrait featuring himself alongside former AFL player and 2014 Australian of the Year Adam Goodes, entitled 'Stand Strong for Who You Are'."
