22.01.2022 Salam aleikum everyone. Unfortunately our upcoming Shajarah Kindy in Holland Park is no more. The lease we had signed with Holland Park Islamic Society has been cancelled. From being informed that we had the go ahead in November, through getting approved plans drafted, applying to the Department of Education for the 3 separate approvals that are required, signing the lease, moving all our equipment and furniture from 2 Rothon Dr and starting renovation work.... to nothing. Today I moved the shipping container full of equipment and put all our furniture into storage. (Thanks very much to Storage King for the free use of a removalists truck )

21.01.2022 Salam aleikum all. InshaAllaah we may have found a new location for Shajarah Kindy. When its confirmed we can pass on details inshaAllaah. If confirmed inshaAllaah the next step is negotiations and then planning and approvals applications. Then will come the real work inshaAllaah!

20.01.2022 Salam aleikum everyone. We know there are many people wondering where we will be moving to and some even think we have closed! Let me assure you that is not the case. InshaAllaah we will be open until Friday 29th December 2017 at our current address of 2 Rothon Dr, Rochedale South and I hope to be able to announce our new address for next year by the end of this month. So please stay tuned for the big announcement!

Number of issues/threats/phone calls/unauthorised people coming into Kindy in the years since weve been open: 2012: NIL / 0 2013: NIL / 0 2014: NIL / 0 2014: NIL / 0 2015: NIL / 0 2016: NIL / 0 2017: NIL / 0 The ONLY complaints we have had from the public directed at Kindy is regarding ILLEGAL CAR PARKING and RUBBISH being dropped in the street. Please if you hear any rumours help us in conveying the TRUTH of the situation and tell anyone who asks or mentions it that we have had ZERO SECURITY ISSUES in the entire time we have existed. 17.01.2022 Shajarah Islamic Kindergarten has been providing the Brisbane Muslim Community with Quality Early Childhood Education and Care since October 2012. We must relocate at the end of 2017. We currently do not have any place to go. Ideally we need a purpose-built Kindergarten or Child Care Centre to move into. Ladies, please come to tonights Muslimah Night Bazaar to find out more inshaAllaah- we will be having a face painting stall to help raise funds inshaAllaah. 10.01.2022 Salam aleikum all. Now that we have confirmed our new place opposite Browns Plains Grand Plaza in Bushmills Ct, Hillcrest, we have to start packing and planning our move inshaAllaah. Logistics! And our exit from our current premises will be before our new place will be ready by 22 January inshaAllaah so we will have to pack and transport and store all our equipment and furniture etc and then transport and unpack inshaAllaah.
