16.01.2022 RIVER ROAD The most talked about stage in the bay. Some people hate it, most people love it. Very technical and demanding. Getting to do the stage twice last year, including once at night was a huge buzz.. One of my favourite stages in the country.... The bay is only 4 weeks away. And being the 1st rally back for everyone after the covid 19 restrictions.. it’s going to draw a huge field, and followers.. July 4th can’t come soon enough

13.01.2022 Hey everyone. Richie here Unfortunately we have crashed out on SS3, hitting a tree while lying in 2nd place overall, We are both ok. A very rookie driver error. I put the car a little too much off the swept line to make a better angle for the corner, which in turn failed to make the car turn in, the line is so fine when travelling at these speeds and fighting for half seconds here and there.... We are extremely disappointed as we were in a comfortable position for a podium. Sorry to everyone who has helped out and made the trip down. We will be back.

11.01.2022 Congratulations to one of Shamrock Motorsports major sponsors Border Crane Consultants. Their new huge state of the art facility is incredible. Their directors Jason and Melissa Barry have been very good to both Shamrock Haulage and Shamrock Motorsport over the years. Really looking forward to getting the tour over the weekend. We will have our rally cars in their showroom on display for their offical opening when the covid 19 restrictions lift.... And finally, with their commitment to Shamrock Motorsport this morning, we can confirm, we will be on the entry list for the AMH Automotive Group Rally of the Bay on July 4th aiming for 3 in a row.

10.01.2022 So, the Mk2 escort goes to port in Melbourne on Saturday for @otagorally, Huge thanks to @raceproductsau for their complete rear axel, @holinger_engineering for their ZF dog box,and #srdmotorsport for their purpose built duratec. Also a massive thanks must go to @activrallysport for getting this car to the standard it’s at: Special mention to @willorders27 who decided to put launch control (picture above) into a 42 year old ford escort. Baptism of fire is an understatement. ...But cannot think of a better place to drive it than Otago. The roads, the people, the atmosphere, the culture, the organisation. And of coarse the after party. Looking forward to catching up with old friends in a few weeks. See more
