24.01.2022 Very excited to announce we will be running Harry Bates’s championship winning Toyota Yaris AP4 for the Motorsport Australia Rally Championship in 2021 We had a small 50km test on Monday, and are very happy with how it went. The car will be run by Neal Bates Motorsport.... Our Ford Fiesta is also sold. We also want to thank Activ Rallysport for their professionalism and hard work running the car and achieving outright victories in the Nsw and Victorian rally Championships. Here’s to 2021 and new beginnings.

24.01.2022 Big shout out the the Victorian Rally Championship and the Akademos Rally organisers for having us. 160 competitive kms in 8hrs is a great achievement, the roads were mega. Thanks to Activ Rallysport for prepping the car, it’s starting to show its potential now. A great test for the WRC in 3 weeks. And the win was a nice bonus. See you in Coffs

23.01.2022 Really motivated for this event. Absolutely love the roads around Batemans Bay, very similar profile to the WRC in Coffs Harbour. And the level of competition this year is incredible. Anyone of the top 10 or 11 are capable of taking it out.

18.01.2022 So wrapped to have won the AMH Automotive Group Rally of the Bay 2 years in a row! It certainly wasn't easy with the quality of the field and the small issues we encountered along the way. However, it was a huge relief to make it to the finish and take the win continuing to prove how competitive the car is! 17.01.2022 After our turbo failure across the finish line of the last stage in Akademos last weekend, the @activrallysport boys have stripped and rebuilt the fiestas engine, and bolted on a new @garrettturbocharger, just in time for @rallyaustralia in a few weeks. The new paint scheme...... obviously they’ve got too much time on their hands. Thanks boys

17.01.2022 Hey everyone. Richie here Unfortunately we have crashed out on SS3, hitting a tree while lying in 2nd place overall, We are both ok. A very rookie driver error. I put the car a little too much off the swept line to make a better angle for the corner, which in turn failed to make the car turn in, the line is so fine when travelling at these speeds and fighting for half seconds here and there.... We are extremely disappointed as we were in a comfortable position for a podium. Sorry to everyone who has helped out and made the trip down. We will be back.

He was a very close friend, also from Kilkenny, and we lived together in Sydney when we came to Australia 1st.... Unfortunately he was killed in a tragic truck accident last weekend on the mid north coast of NSW, Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help out his grief stricken wife and family. We have been making great progress and want to continue to develop it. Obviously we are going out to try claim back to back victories in what is the biggest rally in the country (Coffs aside) at the moment.

06.01.2022 Unfortunately work commitments have restrained us from pre event testing in Tasmania before this weekends 3rd round of the Australian Rally Championship, @activrallysport and @johnreedracing have been working hard since Natcap and have developed the car more, Again, another new rally to learn, new notes to write, and learn more about the car. It’s going to be very challenging to be on the pace of the front runners, but we will be giving it everything, Looking forward to the challenge and doing a new event.

05.01.2022 Lunch time service. We have had a host of problems this morning. Ss1 went ok it took a while for the DMACK tyres to come up to temp. But they are working perfectly. SS 2 we lost the front brakes about 8kms from the end, and also the gear linkage mechanism failed, making gear changes very difficult. We lost about 20 seconds. SS 3 same gear issues. And 5kms into 9km stage. An intercooler hose split.... We lose maybe 10 or 15 seconds in there. The boys have replaced all the parts and hopefully we can climb back up the leaderboard in the afternoon Wishart Media

04.01.2022 RIVER ROAD The most talked about stage in the bay. Some people hate it, most people love it. Very technical and demanding. Getting to do the stage twice last year, including once at night was a huge buzz.. One of my favourite stages in the country.... The bay is only 4 weeks away. And being the 1st rally back for everyone after the covid 19 restrictions.. it’s going to draw a huge field, and followers.. July 4th can’t come soon enough
