25.01.2022 Hey, this was supposed to be an April Fool's joke, but I think I overestimated how many people know 'Say It Ain't So'. The guitar is from 'Say It Ain't So', but the words are from the song 'Beverly Hills' (mashing together one of the best Weezer songs with one of the worst). Safe to say, the joke didn't turn out as I expected, but I'm glad to see that so many of you seemed to enjoy it anyway! Stay safe! -Rob

22.01.2022 Sad reacts only This news is not crisp at all :( But for real, we'll all miss ya Darcy, and we wish you the very best!

22.01.2022 Out of all the bands in Toowoomba, Venice On Fire were probably the band we played with the most over the years, ever since we shared the tiny, crappy stage at the Shamrock, all the way to when we opened for these guys for their NOV 2 single launch shows. Venice on Fire are some of the coolest guys you'll ever meet, and they've been nothing but amazing to us over the years, and we're very sad to hear the news that they're wrapping things up. So to Tom, Darcy, Jarrod, Che and Madi, thank you for all the tunes and good times, and your pals in Shark Drive wish you the very best of luck in whatever you guys choose to do next!

20.01.2022 [EDIT: Guys, this was an April Fool's joke, I think I over-estimated how many people know 'Say It Ain't So'. I'm glad you all enjoyed it though!] Hi guys! With everything happening right now, I've been cooped up at home, so I thought I'd cover some of my favourite songs. This is a cover of "Say It Ain't So" by Weezer, one of my all-time faves. I hope you all enjoy!... - Rob Listen to the original here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epTeA3Uz194 original video title: Say It Ain't So (Weezer Cover) - Shark Drive || Rob Solo Cover!

19.01.2022 Very excited to announce our signing with Toowoomba's own Lackadaisical Records! We've got BIG things coming soon, and with the help of the super talented guys at Lacka Records, it's gonna be bigger and better than anything we've done before. Watch this space!...

19.01.2022 Had a total blast at Bands For Brigades yesterday! Huge thank you to all the artists who took time to perform for such a great cause, and to the audiences who turned up to support the RFS! Massive thanks to the massive legend Elliot from Cardboard Cutouts for putting it all together and for having us on! See you all soon!

18.01.2022 Very honoured for Mike to be included in this Brisbane meme, despite not being from Brisbane. (For the record, we'd go 1 of each of the $1, so we can spend the rest on 3 Likeside Horn Sections, a Big Dinner sax, and a McChicken)

16.01.2022 Yo, we just wrapped up recording vocals for our next single! This song is shaping up to be absolutely ridiculous, and we can't wait to be able to share it with you. Big props to the legends at Lackadaisical Records for helping us finally get this stuff together! <3

This was done by @steven_orcweird on Twitter, an online buddy of Joseph's. If you've got a twitter, go check out his page, full of super cool stuff! Cheers Steve!

06.01.2022 ICYMI, Shark Drive are insanely excited to announce that we have signed with Toowoomba's own Lackadaisical Records! We're hyped to be joining our new label-mates Cardboard Cutouts, Josh Melia and rileyargusmusic (and more!), and with the help of the guys at Lacka Records, we've got some really cool stuff just around the corner!

05.01.2022 Shark Drive Live-Stream??? We've been thinking about doing an online concert from our practice space. We're itching to play some gigs, and we know that that's not happening anytime soon, but we're fortunate enough to be able to practice and play music together as a band without violating any quarantine guidelines. Would any of you guys be interested in a Shark Drive live-stream?

02.01.2022 Yo, if you're after some new local tunes, this kicks ass!! This is a really great debut single, and if you aren't into Annoying Neighbours, why? What's wrong with you? Go check 'em out

02.01.2022 Super proud of the team at Bands For Brigades! We're super proud to have been part of such a great event, which raised more than $2000 for Rural Fire Services!! Well done to all the artists, Project 62, Cardboard Cutouts, The Governors, Sang-Froid, Greg charles, Meg Beth, James Ryle Music and Riley Argus for putting on such a great show! And a big thank you to all the crowds for coming along to support the local scene AND support the RFS! Biggest 'well done' of all goes to Elliot from Cardboard Cutouts for getting involved and putting it all together. Congrats mate!

02.01.2022 Can you believe it's been 2 years since we released Insomnia!?
