24.01.2022 From playing at Scarborough Futsal League to making a step up to Futsal Supa-Liga. Aaron Backshell our Sharks youth goalkeeper has had an incredible season. Only 16 and his ever-increasing confidence and skill set were very noticeable. Well done Aaron, keep up the amazing work. This ones for you.

24.01.2022 The Scarborough Sharks would like to welcome on board Greg Simmonds as the Senior women's coach. Greg brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge from his time playing at multiple levels of outdoor football, working statistical analyses for the Perth glory women's team, Football West development roles AND most importantly Scarborough Sharks men's B & A grade goalkeeper. Greg's main aim this season will be to assist and motivate the team to fulfill their full potential, providing a clear message, direction and strategy and engaging with players to enhance their skill set. Good luck Greg and the Sharkettes - we look forward to the upcoming season.

14.01.2022 Hi there Shark fins. This weekend reminded me of when surfer Mick Fanning got attacked by a shark - the shark did come in to attack, but when the surfer came back swinging the shark swam off second best. Friday night and our men’s b grade were unable to get the W against a clinical Hawks. Our boys created a few big chances but could not get past the opposing keeper. End result 4-0.... Hoping to bounce back after a big loss last weekend our Shark pups took on new comers My Typa Goal. The pups struggled to gel together as a team and allowed their opponents to strike a few past our young keeper. End result 4-0. Our Sharkettes started off against the always systematically sound Hawks with good control and patience, however were not able to keep it going for the game duration. A 7-1 loss with Louise Gishubl breaking the ladies goal drought. Finally our Men’s A grade faced off with the top of the table Futsal factory. Our men we fearless and hard at the ball - matching Factory in all aspects. Amazing goalkeeping from Greg Simmonds and early goals from youngsters Ty Tate and Ash Rowson confirmed the sharks great game play and when Jacob Wemyss and Flynn Nolan also fired some past the keeper our men were hoping that a secured victory was within sight. However the never say die Factory continued to push and our boys were unable to hold them out. Final score 6-4. Never fear Sharks fins - our sharks teams may have had a hard weekend and that bites, but sharks always circle around again, just be ready for it. Sharks out
