19.01.2022 Trust your gut! This is something that often gets overlooked or overridden! Why do we have that ‘gut instinct’? We live in a world of so many opportunities, excuses and opinions! We listen to other people’s perspective, we worry about other people’s judgements and we put other people’s needs before our own. ... We can be so worried about other people, the what if’s and the risks that we miss the opportunity that is right in front of us! I have found myself in the past, missing out on things, fun stuff, work stuff and new experiences because I was scared! 17.01.2022 Ok....so I know to most of you this picture is just some random person with an electric scooter! No big deal!! I know.....right! But................... For me, (And this IS me) this is a BIG deal! My son was absolutely loving riding these all around the city in Darwin. He kept asking me to go on them with him.....I kept saying ‘no’, I can’t ride one of those!! It’s easier to just say ‘no’ without even thinking about how fun it might be!! ... I eventually realised that I say ‘no’ way too much for myself.........so........not anymore! I decided to start saying ‘yes’! To more things for me, to more things I was scared to do (like riding an electric scooter is not a hard decision for most people) but I wanted to have more fun, more experiences and more challenges. That’s my new challenge to myself!
