Help us honour him, his new guide dog Ernie and thousands of people whose lives are enriched daily by their guide dog and those to be matched with guide dogs in training. It costs approx $50,000 to raise, train, match and offer ongoing support for just one dog! This service is offered free of charge to those who are blind and visually impaired. 09.01.2022 Shayne's daughter Carla is walking 30 mins a day with her Puppy Wilson to raise funds for Guide Dogs QLD. If you can spare some change and donate to our team "In honour of William" it would be much appreciated and goes a long way towards supporting people with Vision Loss. Shayne has had 2 guide dogs. William retired and has since passed away, and his current Guide Dog Ernie. Each dog costs approx $50,000 to raise, train, match and offer ongoing support and this is all free of charge to people who need a guide dog, like Shayne. Covid has hit hard and a lot of fundraisers have had to be cancelled, so its the perfect opportunity to donate (any amount) if you can. Thank you!
