16.01.2022 One of the greatest erotic artists, sex educators and feminist pleasure activists who ever lived has left her beloved sexy body. Betty Dodson has achieved the b...ig cosmic orgasm and is now free of her ailing body. (She didn't have covid fyi.) She was loved and adored by many, who would have all been doting on her and massaging her during her illness but no one could visit her in the hospital and hospice since February. (Damned covid.) But she felt the love through many phone calls, flowers, gifts and orgasms galore. Thanks to Carlin Ross for being her guardian angel through out the years and taking care of everything. The MOSEX in NY will have an exhibition of Betty Dodson's extraordinary art work opening in December and it will run for a year or two. It will serve as a memorial focal point. Happy about that. Many of Betty's beloveds have been grieving her leaving the planet for months. Today we are marveling at the timing of her blast off-- yesterday, on the full moon, Samhain/HallowsEve/Halloween. There will be more postings all over about her with more details. For now I will just say that I discovered her work in 1973 when I was 18 at the Erotic Art Museum in SF. It changed my life in the best of ways. Forever grateful to have been friends, neighbors, and colleagues. I'm so relieved that she's not suffering a day more. Life will never be the same without her.
