17.01.2022 SHOPPING IGA MOSS VALE IGA Moss Vale will provide grocery shopping for people who do not wish to leave their home. This means that people need to ring IGA Moss Vale on 4868 2640 and give them their shopping order over the phone the day before delivery. Payment of the groceries will need to be done with EFTPOS no cash will be taken. IGA will then do the shopping for a cost of $10 + $7.70 delivery = $17.70 except for Moss Vale area which will be $10 + $6.60 delivery = $1...6.60 IGA will then deliver the order to the following areas: Monday to Moss Vale, Robertson, Burrawang, Wildes Meadow Tuesday to Moss Vale, Berrima, New Berrima Wednesday to Moss Vale, Bowral, Burradoo Thursday to Moss Vale, Bundanoon, Exeter, Sutton Forrest Friday to Mittagong IGA do not deliver to Canyonleigh, Tallong, Hilltop, Colo Vale - Community Transport could assist with delivery to these areas. For people who wish to go shopping (other than IGA) can go on our shopping bus or alternatively we can take them shopping in a car. 13.01.2022 To all Service Users: With the current COVID-19 pandemic continually evolving it is understandably causing considerable concern amongst the community resulting in uncertainty for those who require essential services in order to maintain their everyday quality of life. Southern Highlands Community Transport is deemed an essential service and therefore are committed to continue to provide transport services for all of our service users in line with guidelines and recommendation...s from the Department of Health. Southern Highlands Community Transport staff and drivers have undergone and will continue to undergo training to meet the health and safety standards in line with the Department of Health guidelines. This means that good hygiene, and social distancing is being practised and each vehicle is cleaned and sanitised thoroughly after each use each day. Transport and seating arrangements in the following vehicles regarding social distancing will apply; Cars Maximum of one passenger at any one time (except for husband and wife who may travel together), no front seat passengers Vans Maximum of 4 passengers at any one time. Direct passengers sit in different rows unless related. No front seat passengers, bus helper to sit in the rear. Buses Maximum of 10 passengers at any one. Nobody to sit in seat immediately behind or beside driver. Passengers to sit in different rows unless related. Try to have an empty row between passengers, no front seat passengers. Bus helper to sit in the rear. As the COVID-19 pandemic changes and new information comes to hand we would like to reassure you that Southern Highlands Community Transport will take immediate action to adapt our services to continue to meet the recommendations of the Department of Health. Our Shopping buses are continuing to operate as per our normal timetable. Transport to local appointments and to Sydney and surrounding areas is still available. If you require changes to the services you currently use due to social isolation please contact Southern Highlands Community Transport and we will endeavour to work with you to find a solution to assist you with your request. 11.01.2022 An update for all of our clients regarding the coronavirus: Currently our regular services are continuing as normal. At this stage we have postponed the social trip on 17 April and will advise you of any other changes as they occur. Our drivers are following recommended hygiene guidelines with hospital grade disinfectant to ensure our vehicles remain as clean as possible.... We are also limiting the number of passengers per vehicle to keep in line with social distancing rules. Feel free to call the office if you have any questions on 4872-3722.
