24.01.2022 Hello to you all Firstly we would like to thank you all for being incredibly patient through these past few weeks while we navigate our way through these challenging times. We would like to notify you that we are currently in the process of working towards reopening the salon potentially by the end of the month.... Understandably we have to change the way we operate to ensure we can provide a safe space for both ourselves and our guests. We will have more details to come on how this will be implemented. The salon's phone has been diverted to my (Nadia's) personal mobile phone and I will be doing my best to answer all your calls, but please don't hesitate to leave a voicemail message if I'm unable to answer. At this stage, if you have an appointment before the 6th of April, it has essentially been suspended. We are still working our way through contacting clients with these appointments. ... If you are one of our clients with an upcoming appointment and are reading this post, please give us a or a to acknowledge this suspension. When the imminent lock down of our industry does take place, we will update you all on our social media platforms. So please make sure you are also following our page. 23.01.2022 To Our Valued Clients, It's with heavy hearts that as of today 23/03/2020 the doors at Shear Perfection Hair Design will be closed for the next 2 weeks at this stage. Unfortunately the nature of our industry makes it terribly difficult to implement the 1.5mtr social distancing requirements. ... We believe it is in the best interest for our clients, staff, families, friends and the broader community to exercise a duty of care to minimise the impact that the COVID-19. We will be cancelling out all current standing appointments held over these next 2 weeks. Thereafter we will be making our decisions on moving forward based on the relevant government advise and regulations at that time. We are well aware that as of today, the hair and beauty industry are not considered non-essential business' and services that are forced to close, however with the severity of the situation, the varying age demographic of our client base and the consequences of contracting and spreading the virus, we have a responsibility to our community to keep people safe. We will not be taking any chances. We please ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We will endeavor to contact as many clients as possible over the upcoming days. We will also try our very best to reply to any messages as soon as possible. Once we can trade as normal again, we will be extending our trading hours to cater for the back log of appointments. 15.01.2022 DON’T TOUCH THE BOX DYE CHALLENGE/ COMPETITION Since we have had to close down the salon until further notice, we are very understanding that some of you maybe struggling to find the willpower NOT to colour your own hair yourself. We don’t believe that selling survival or rescue packages to be the answer to this as you all have very specific colours tailored to each individual. ... So, in light of all this we here at Shear Perfection Hair Design are running a Don’t Touch The Box Dye Challenge. All you have to do is post in the comments a before picture, hair only showing the current state of your regrowth, no matter how much or little, share this post and once we are able to trade again as normal, we’ll get you to share your after photos on the relevant post that we will share when that time arrives. We will post an example photo to start you off (don’t judge my hair, when I’m not working, it gets neglected ) We will be awarding 4 lucky entrants who have the best/worst after photos with some generous gifts. 1st place gift 2 lucky people will each receive a complete colour service FREE of charge with your choice of stylist once trading resumes as normal. 2nd place gift 1 person will receive 50% off their first visit colour service once trading resumes as normal. 3rd place gift 1 retail pack up to the value of $69.95 The team at Shear Perfection will all be the judges and winners will be announced on Facebook. 07.01.2022 UPDATE FOR STAGE 3 RESTRICTIONS Under stage 3 restrictions hairdressers are able to remain open. However the team at Shear Perfection have a few requirements for our clients to adhere to so we can remain operating safely. No mask, no entry. You will be refused service. We will not be supplying masks and as it is mandatory to be wearing a face covering in public, we fully expect you to be capable of supplying yourself one. ... If you are unwell with cold and flu like symptoms, you will need to cancel/reschedule your appointment. If possible, with notice as we have an extensive waiting list. Please use the hand sanitiser upon entry and keep your mask on at all times. If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for covid-19, you must cancel/reschedule your appointment. We are not currently accepting new clients at this stage. Current restrictions have made it limited in appointment availability since reopening. Please only bring yourself to your appointment. We will be limiting the number of people in the salon. All booking enquires are to be done by phone only during business hours. There will be NO entry into the salon for appointment enquires, nor are we arranging appointments via messages, ie. Facebook, Instagram or messenger. Please be assured we are maintaining a high standard of thorough disinfecting and cleaning in our working routine. Thank you to all our loyal clients who have been extra patient and supportive during these challenging times. We look forward to the days where we can not have these strict requirements in place, but until then we will do what is necessary to still ensure we can remain open and operate safely.
