21.01.2022 I just did my first HAPPY (half) HOUR with this beautiful soul, Sami from @samis_bra_styling. You can jump in and rewatch the live for another 23hrs where we chat about Sami, her business and what inspires her... Oh and most importantly - her favourite wine . Sami also has a Facebook group so I’ll link those details in on there + a photo of the beautiful June (her travelling Intimo van). I’m looking forward to making this a regular occurrence and showcasing some more fabulous local woman in business .

07.01.2022 I’m a lipgloss addict from way back - my lip smacker collection as a kid was amazing (although my sisters was even more amazing)! If I had to choose limited beauty products, this would be one of them, I hate being anywhere without a lipgloss. As a grownup, this one has become one of my faves and I was so excited to pick up my new one from the post office this afternoon!... What beauty product can’t you live without?

07.01.2022 Another day, another shot of my morning coffee . This one comes with some morning ramble too it’s a long one! It’s been a super tough few weeks in my businesses and in my head.... I absolutely LOVE what I do, so to not see customers and clients most days + not having work for our employee because of damn RONA has just made me so sad . Mentally, I’ve worked through a lot. I’ve been incredibly sad, heartbroken and angry, but I’ve also had an amazing support network around me. They’ve seen me sobbing , they’ve seen me drink too much wine but above all, they’ve encouraged and allowed me to feel all the feels that come with processing something so unexpected. I’m sharing this with you because if I hadn’t have allowed myself to process the situation and feel all of the FEELS i think my path to making peace would have been blocked. To be honest, after this experience, I realised it has been YEARS (I’m talking 10+ years) since I have actually allowed myself to feel ALL the feels, what an awesome barrier to break down . I believe we are always a work in progress, there is always room to grow and learn + barriers to tear down (yes there is still more!), but I guess the point I’m trying to make is that sometimes you have to weather the storm to get the rainbow . That rainbow to me has been stripping everything back to basics and gaining back my creativity and my passion. Just because I can’t do it in the way I always have, doesn’t mean I can’t find another way . I haven’t 100% found a solution, but I’m not going to hang around and wait for that anymore - instead I’m just going to follow my little niggles and ideas (there’s a lot of notepads with random brain dumps on them in my house at the moment) and keep putting one foot in front of the other, in the direction that feels right .

03.01.2022 Athleisure wear... are you a fan? For me, it’s my Sunday go to. It doesn’t mean I’ve done a workout, it means I’m comfortable and ready for whatever the day throws at me.... Today, it’s running up to the farm so my hubby can pick the truck up and then I’m poping over to the shop to pack some orders and sort some stock - then home for some fam time .
