25.01.2022 I’ve just discovered this amazing app! It is called PictureThis. It is a great way to identify plants, weeds etc. I have this tree in my garden and could not work out what it was? With this app I was able to take a photo of it and it identified it straight away. A years subscription cost me $40 but money well spent!

25.01.2022 Good morning As promised I’ve put together a few photos of propagating plants properly. I have taken some cuttings from a Tuscan Blue Rosemary bush and my favourite Wee Jasper Grevillea. I mixed together some beautiful potting mix out of course sand, strained worm castings, Perlite and soil from the garden. Watered them with worm casting liquid. It’s best to keep new cuttings out of direct sunlight and temperatures between 18-21 degrees. I don’t know about all of you but I just LOVE doing this! Happy Gardening!!

20.01.2022 Today I went out to two beautiful gardens. One in Merimbula and the other at Tura Beach. Here are some before and after photos. Just love my job but I think I need a good soak in the bath!! Happy Gardening xx

19.01.2022 Today’s work the old walking cane came in handy today for lowering branches so that I could remove dead flowers from this very old Protea tree .. first job Tura beach weeding a very over grown rose garden. Then off to Merimbula to do some tree maintenance.. Hope you’re all enjoying the beautiful sunshine

16.01.2022 The garden I worked in today at Broadwater would have to be one of my favourites. It is so full of Australian natives with the most beautiful flowers. Some of these photos are of wild natives just growing around the garden area. There is also a picture of a Paulownia tree just sprouting fresh shoots. Today I planted 35 Old Man Salt Bush Trees. These are an amazing fire retardant around your home. They are drought tolerant and handle salinity and sandy soil. They are used to f...eed livestock and can also be used to feed ourselves.. good old bush tucker .. the leaves may be dried and rubbed on meat for salting or bake them in the oven and you have delicious salty chips! I just want to say thank you to all of you who continue to like my page and support me. 15.01.2022 From this to this had a great day working in a beautiful ladies garden today in Bega, removing the old scraggly Hebe hedge. Had help from my favourite young man Bradley Cusack thank you so much! Was hard work but had a few giggles in between hope you’re all enjoying this magnificent day! X
