16.01.2022 Despite no medical evidence to support the decision, some Australian hospitals are telling women they can’t access showers of baths during birth. Which is bullshit, double bullshit since many midwives of prominent stature and attainment have come out saying that they think it’s bullshit too (and many more agree but are unable to publicly say so, including midwives who are working in those hospitals making these decisions). My personal response in short is this Unlesa you can provide sound medical reasoning, let’s put this discussion under the ‘I Didn’t Ask For Your Opinion’ umbrella and do whatever the fuck we please aye?
