24.01.2022 Shepp Soccer Club Under 15s played GSSC today. We welcomed a new player Will G to the team who fit in well with the kids. The team enjoyed a good win after an entirely rusty first half. Billy, Will, and Callum scored their first goals for the club with Nick and Jacob making their presence felt on the score card. Was a great team effort on the day and fun was had all round. ... 23.01.2022 Yesterday our Under 10s played Congupna Cruzers. It was a fantastic game to watch with both teams giving it their all. Some great saves by goalies, some great goals and awesome plays all round.

20.01.2022 Under 12’s. Shepparton SC 0 - Shepp South Black 1. Although we came away with the loss... What a game...WHAT A GAME!!! It took a quality strike from distance to beat star goal keeper Welk as every effort on target was repelled time and time again. No matter what rotation or position change Coach Harvey made, each player took it in their stride and competed with passion till the final whistle. This group of kids are building something special as a team and the club is looking forward to a bright future. It’s great to be back. Go SHEPP!!!

20.01.2022 Saturday 24th saw Shepparton SC Under 12's come up against a Shepp United Blue who were determined to get their first win of the season over their traditional rivals. It was a difficult half for The Reds conceding 3 goals in the first half. Although the half did start in our favour with the United keeper under pressure, we couldnt capatalise on the momentum. The second half started with The Reds 3 goals down and chasing the game. To their credit, this team didnt stop fighting till the end and scored the only goad of the second half. Unfortunately that was how it ended. Shepparton SC 1 SUSC Blue 3.

19.01.2022 ***UNDER 12'S UPDATE*** Last week was the first game of the season and saw our 12s up against SJSA u11 squad who were just too good on the day, winning 5-0. The SSC team were disappointed with the result as they had their fair share of possession and quality chances but just lacked the finishing skills required to put the pressure on the SJSA 11's. Considering that only 4 players are from the 2019 Grand Final squad and the team hasnt had a chance to gel and get some game tim...e into them, it was still an entertaining match with more highs than lows. This week it was smiles all round for the 12s who took on Shepparton United White and came away with a convincing 6-2 win. Shepparton SC were dominant from the start with an early goal to settle the nerves and another week of training with super coach Jordan Harvey resulted in quality passing, shooting and team play with a fluid transition from defence to attack. SUSC White were dangerous on the break and tested our defence each time they came forward. Credit to them for making it a terrific contest right till the end. We can envisage many more great games in years to come. Shepparton SC has a great bunch of kids with plenty of passion and cohesion and they will look to be a dominant force this year. 19.01.2022 Important information for players and families during training/trial sessions. - Covid Compliance Sign In will commence at 9.30am. All players must sign in and sanitise at the desk near the pavillion. All players must sign out upon completion of their session. - Parents/Guardians who are spectating from outside of their personal vehicle are required to provide their details. - Please do not enter training grounds unless permitted.... - Session will commence at 10.00am and will finish at 11.30am. - Parents/Guardians of players in the following age groups must remain onsite at all times - Under 6's, Under 7's, Under 8's, Under 10's. - Shin pads are compulsory. Please ensure your child has their own shin pads. Soccer boots are recommended but not required at this stage. - Please ensure your child brings their own drink bottle. Shepparton SC will not be providing drinks and there is strictly NO sharing of drink bottles. - Parents/Guardians, please remember that if you cannot social distance, face masks are required. 18.01.2022 Hello All Shepparton SC Families. SJSA has announced its season will be halted for the time being with the prospect for future games if the COVID19 crisis can be contained. Its very disappointing to be at this stage considering the fantastic work the Goulburn Valley region has done in staying safe but we must do the right thing and halt soccer for the time being. ... Fingers crossed, Stage 3 & 4 lockdown are the answer and we can get back to some normality after the next 6 weeks. As information is made available to us, we will forward on to you all. If it does look likely that we can return to play, we will send out another email to confirm if you would still allow your child/children to play soccer. 18.01.2022 Shepp Soccer Club played Shepp United in U 15's yesterday after a late change with GVGS pulling out. Was a great game to watch with stand out early defence from Carl, Matt D and Ethan tackling and defending well. Went into half time 2-1 up after a standout header goal from Jacob from a goalie lockout from Carl from the other end. ... Both teams had chances to score throughout and United ended up putting 3 second half goals in to take the win in the dead rubber.

17.01.2022 Sunday 25th saw Sheppaton SC Under 12's come up against Shepp South White. The last time they met, South White punished The Reds with a convincing 8-0 scoreline. Once again SSSC White were quick out of the blocks and tested the Shepparton goal keeper on several occasion. Finally the goals were breached and by half time The Reds found themselves in a losing position. The second half started much the same as the first, only this time The Reds had more hunger in them. They matched it stride for stride and shot for shot with SSSC White. In the last few weeks, The Reds have started poorly but finished strongly even when suffering heavy defeats. To their credit, The Reds kept marching on and did not stop till the final whistle. Final score was Shepparton 1 SSSC White 5

15.01.2022 What a fantastic soccer Saturday the 1st of August dished up in the Shepparton Junior Soccer Association Pizza Hut Under 7’s competition. Shepparton SC went head to head with a very quick and counter attack minded Bourchier St Gold outfit. From the outset it looked like these two teams were ready for 40 minutes of quality, high tempo and high scoring soccer...and let me tell you they did not let us down. End to end action with some brilliant one touch passing and great commun...ication on show. Teamwork was front of mind with these kids. Well done kids. Final score: Shepparton SC : Great passing and plenty of 1-2’s. Bourchier St Gold : Counter Attack kings. Even the Game Leader was putting the tackles in. This is what soccer is all about. Go SHEPP!!!

11.01.2022 Woweee....top notch game our kids had today in the Shepparton Junior Soccer Association Pizza Hut Under 7’s competition. Big improvements on last week and really starting to play and gel as a team. Big futures for these kids if they continue in this fashion. I do believe one child got his first goal of the year which is great to see. Guthrie Lions were top opposition and have fantastic kids that we would love to see in the famous Red & Black of Shepparton SC one day. 09.01.2022 In Under 12’s action, Shepparton SC were defeated 10-0 by a well organised and potent GV Suns outfit. The red & black definitely held their own in the first half and were competitive across the park but the second half they fell away and were overrun conceding late goals to push the final score into double digits. Although the team felt like they were served a footballing lesson, super coach Jordan Harvey definitely had some wise words for the kids and now they need to focus on the positives and put the negatives behind them. All teams have minor hiccups on the journey to greatness. Go SHEPP!!!

07.01.2022 Shepp Soccer Club Under 15s had a good win today. Cael played his first game for the year and had a good run. Theo got his first SSC goal whilst Jacob and Dusty kept the scorers busy. Nick B showed some great sportsmanship in consoling an injured combatant. The kids all showed improvement and a higher level of cohesion from the previous week which was great to see and a few new comers to SSC shed some first week nerves to show some go. ... 07.01.2022 Shepparton SC Under 7's capped off their 2020 Season with a weekend of quality skills and pass and move plays that highlighted the work that Super Coach Ash Brown has put into these kids. Saturday saw "The Reds" come up against a Guthrie Leopards team that was looking to finish their own season strongly. At full time, the crowd walked away enjoying end to end action with plenty of goals and just as many misses and first class smiles all around. Final Score : Shepparton SC .......... Guthrie Leopards ........ Sunday saw "The Reds" face off against Congupna Cruzers. If there was an award for best listeners and following instructions, the Congupna Cruzers would take out first place. Credit to them. Once again, the action was red hot with goals galore. SheppartonSC were on the attack from the first whistle and kept up their momentum and pressure throughout the game. The Cruzers had a plan to counter attack quickly and in numbers and it worked in their favour. In the end, it was the perfect way finish off a soccer season that was full of high's on the field. Final Score : Shepparton SC : Goals Goals Goals Congupna Cruzers : Goals Goals Goals Shepparton SC would like to send out a HUGE Thank You to Ash Brown for taking on the job as Under 7's Coach. It takes a lot of patience and understanding with this age group as its the beginning of their soccer journey and its important to have someone like Ash that can guide them correctly. Also big thanks to Team Manager Me (Stefo Radevski) for having the easiest job in the world. With great kids and families on board, my job was made easier week after week.

02.01.2022 Well that's a wrap for the winter soccer season and what a finish it was! Our Under 15s finished off the season with another fantastic display of teamwork and skills defeating Shepparton South 3-0. Thank you to all our families for your support this year. It definitely wasn't smooth sailing but your commitment has kept us all going.
