A covid protocol will also be released closer to each event.... Please message the club should you like to volunteer on race day! 19.01.2022 #NEWS We're encouraging our triathlon community to Pay It Forward this season and help those within our sport who are currently doing it tough. Pay It Foward is... a crowdfunding campaign created to help support our members who are undergoing financial hardship due to COVID-19 and unable to renew their membership for the 2020-21 season. The campaign allows the swim, bike and run community to give either a donation towards a membership or fully fund a membership for a fellow club or Triathlon Victoria member. 14.01.2022 Hello All, We hope your training continues despite the limitations around club activity. The club would like to provide the following update:... 1) Club Training - Group Rides In keeping consistent with advice from the state health department and our governing bodies, STC is unable to host group rides at present despite the government’s easing of outdoor activity restrictions. The club will continue to review its position and inform members once group rides can resume. 2) Aquamoves 50m Pool Aquamoves has reopened their 50m pool available for use at restricted hours. Please note that sessions must be booked online and that change rooms are unavailable under current restrictions. More information can be found at: http://aquamoves.com.au//outdoor-lap-swimming-and-group-fi 3) Lake Swim and Juniors Training An update will be provided next week following a club committee meeting regarding the Lake Swim and Juniors Training sessions. Consideration will be made for how to structure these sessions in a covid safe and compliant manner. 4) Club Race Calendar An update will be provided next week following a club committee meeting to confirm proposed dates and event details. The announced dates will be considered provisional and subject to change pending health advice and restrictions at the time of the event. However, this will provide for forward planning by members as we cautiously, yet optimistically, look towards a return to club race activity. 12.01.2022 Anyone keen for a pool swim at 530pm tonight at Aquamoves? Wet suit recommended! Next week will be warmer and we may do a lake swim then when we have Council permission to open the Tri Club shed. Hot shower and change rooms appealing this week so book via the Portal and see you there. Fiona

11.01.2022 The first edition of the Cavalier Homes Shepparton Aquathlon went off with a bang last night. We welcomed athletes from across the state as well as from as far as Tasmania and New Zealand. Congratulations to all who competed across all the race catagories. A special congratualtions to those who competed in the Sprint event and went home with a State Championship to their name. 02.01.2022 Update From the Committee: The committee this morning has made the decision to cancel the Good Friday Run and Club Presentations for 2020. This decision does not come lightly; these events as it currently stands are within the government guidelines, and there is most certainly a positive social impact. We do have to also consider the protection of our greater community and consider that within the club there are members who fall within at-risk groups.... We are investigating alternatives of holding a virtual presentation to connect as a group. We will update you with further information when available. Through this time we also encourage everyone to stay in touch with each other and the club be it via posting messages within our club Facebook group and supporting each other on Strava, if you haven't already done so we are set up as a club on Strava that you can join and see what fellow members are up to. Let's keep in touch and support each other and the community through this period.
